    Quoted from TigerLaw:

This is really the best advice possible. Variety is the spice of life. Don't be afraid of a game not in the top 100.
A game like Sorcerer or Quicksilver may look simple, but it doesn't mean it's easy. They play fast as hell. Mix up your collection and get a game like one of those two.

Yup. Love the verity of my collection..
    Including my Sorcerer.

Maybe I should leave the hobby???
Even this isn't going to make me quit.

While working on a game I turned to grab a tool and felt my knee give out. In order to save my knee I dropped to the floor. Only problem is that I landed on my ankle/cafe. Ankle broke in two places and upper part of leg bone just below my knee. (sorry I dont know technical names of bones) Also ripped all the tendins from inside of my ankle. It's been 6 weeks so far since the surgery and cast was removed a few days ago. Had to have plates and screws put in and now have a bionic foot! I'm able to move ankle ever so slightly and have been able to stand on it with the help of cruches. Two weeks from now I start physical therapy and hope to get back to work on the game.

Oh the game I was working on you ask?
No Fear.......Ironic huh? A game about action sports where people are doing cool shit when they get injured.   Not me though....I just literally kicked my own ass!

    Quoted from Colsond3:

Ouch...and yes, ironic. You should tell people you were snowboarding, not working on a pin.

Lol. Yeah I was telling the nurse after surgery in the recovery room that I didn't quite make it over the last car I was trying to jump with my dirt bike. Was still doped up at the time.

    Quoted from spfxted:

    You need more calcium.....

Trust me I know. I've been drinking more milk then ever. More dairy in general since this happened. For whatever reason I backed off of dairy a few years ago. I drink mostly water everyday and zero soda/pop so I have that going for me.

    Quoted from Rarehero:

That's not going to help your bones and just lead you to cardiovascular problems. Just take a calcium supplement or eat more dark leafy greens. Milk curing bone probs is a myth.

    Thanks for the tip.

    Quoted from JWJr:

Have to ask: are those drywall screws?

Haha funny. I work as a Journey man mechanic in the auto industry. One of the guys I wotk with already asked if they were Metric or SAE. I told him they were SAE Torx. Who knows. They do look like dry wall screws though.

    Quoted from Mfsrc791:

Yup was going to say that. Dark leafy veggies ftw. Milks not going to help unless you drink almond milk or something.

Bones are healed so thats the good news. I Googled what to eat to help with healing after a bone fracture when this happened. Google said strawberries, broccoli which I've eaten a ton of along with green peppers, kale, and yogurt. Let me tell ya....I had a smoothy almost every morning since this happend and I've actually learned to enjoy them. I'll continue even after recovery. Takes something like this to wake you up to eating better. I'm 6'3" and weigh 220 so I wouldn't consider myself THAT much overweight but I could do better.
