The theme is one of the worst picks of any starting company ever.
The pin is a fantastic product.

Quoted from melappels:This game is our top earner for a long time.
Also the top problem machine for a long time!
Top earner dont tell everything how good a pin is. Indy stern is a top earner too. Thats hardly a top pin.
That it is the top problem pin might be related to that its the pin which is played the most too. More hours of play, more maintenance.
Quoted from dtown:For me, the best thing about JJP and WOZ is that they've made Stern up their prices
Correction made.
Dont forget that jack told that his pins were the real next gen pinball. With innovations, better quality control, better code on shipping, no fooling around, etc. And he also talked bad words about other companies.
If you cant keep your word, be it your own fault or a 3rd party that cant deliver, it will always fire back.
I think if JJP just started his company by saying he is trying to build a new company up. And that he hopes the fans will like it. Instead of telling the whole world that he is the messiah pinball needed.
Then the critism would never be as harsh as it is.
And you can argue about how good woz is as a pinball theme. But i still cant believe how jack picked woz, just without any second thaught about it. Very amateuristic. And.... Honoustly, he picked wrong, if you like it or not, i think we all can agree on numerous of themes that are liked by more pinballfans then woz.
Dont want to dissapoint you, but usa is not the only country in the world.
Woz in Holland and rest of europe does not work. Thats a big part of the marcet.
I also think people were not used to pre order a pin and wait for years. We had only Stern at the time and jpop, predator and gremlins events did not occur.
I think woz got a lot of diverted slack from starting up a company on a different way Stern, the mcdonalds of pinmaking, is doing it.
Now, people are more used to making pins costing years. And when the pins finaly did come in our houses and barcades, they learned waiting longer pays out. Cause woz as well the hobbit turned out to be phenomenal games and lightyears ahead of any other pins being produced by the competition.
If woz was announced now, it would get alot less hate i think.
