    You should be able to rotate the pics before loading them.

    So I guess I rotated this one to its side, but it stayed on its side? My other pics are always standing straight, but somehow rotate when selecting them in the upload in the area.

    because you are holding the camera sideways and not rotating your pictures before you upload them
