I prefer to wait until the hype reaches it's absolute peak and buy one at the scalper inflated price. Once hype settles down I will dump it for a huge loss. Isn't that what you are supposed to do?

Quoted from DadofTwins:First, I'm happy for spooky and the continued success. Hope they are here to stay for the long haul. But here are my reasons.
1. Shouldn't have to pay to join a club to buy a game.
2. Price point has gotten out of hand IMO
3. Putting a rather large non refundable deposit down on a game I barely saw pictures/video of was a big turn off.
4. Waiting up to 18 months for game to ship. No thank you.
Feel same but 750 people and apparently plenty more don't have a problem with any of that. I thought the club thing was a great idea for Spooky to raise a little revenue and get more people invested in their brand. Why not? Even so, you didn't have to join the club since you could buy from distributors. Club members just get their games faster and have extra trim offers. Not everyone has to wait 18 months. That's just how long it takes them to build all 750 of them.
