I think the playfield looks killer. I like the subtle starfield and don't think you could pull it off with a ton of artwork.
It's supposed to be space, yo.
Space is not crowded. Mind blowing, I know.
...but. That's kinda why we call it space.

Quoted from ralphcousman:I have a rick and morty tattoo!
Was it done by the Original Artist?
Quoted from PoMC:I recently bought a new laptop and did lots of research. I steered clear of some models because I saw there were unresolved issues with a prior model and it wasn’t yet clear if the newer models were affected or not. I’m not looking for trouble with a purchase whether it’s $7, $70, $700 and especially $7000.
Can you call the laptop Company and talk to the owner about any issues you may have?
Spooky has repeatedly told us what the problem is with ACNC and how they are going about fixing it.
How about you go and ask the Stern and JJP owners in the Playfield Damage Thread how awesome that would be?
Quoted from CLEllison:Dominos IS terrible
TJ IS terrible
Those were Contract Machines built by Spooky. They were not Spooky Machines.
Quoted from CLEllison:Welp, that's interesting. Charlie Emery was a member of the design team which he also helped design ACNC and RZNI.
From what I have read about those 2 machines, they were contracted to build them.
If a design is brought in and it is untenable and it has to be altered? Well, I assume that's how you get design credit on a contract build.
Quoted from OnTheSnap:We all did it, and some of us felt a bit insecure about it. And still do. It's a leap of faith, that honestly is pretty ridiculous in any other context. It's just the FOMO that exists in this hobby that drives it. Coupled with many that have sizable amount of disposable income willing to take whatever risk they do or do not perceive.
Last Mountain Bike I had built was a 26 month wait and a $1500 Deposit. No Refunds.
Sometimes that is the cost of getting what you want.
Quoted from yancy:You don't! There will be like-new HUO games for sale months before the last R&M is even a gleam in Charlie's eye. You only have to commit $1k sight-unseen if you like opening cardboard boxes.
Well, it'd need to be shipped either way... Might as well come boxed from the factory.
Quoted from Bublehead:I make my purchases based on play. Haven’t played a R&M so that’s the quick answer.
Every one of my machines I had played before I bought. Even my Family Guy, and I picked it over Stern POTC and original Stern Spider-Man at the time... it was NOB after the 2007 Chicago expo Flipin’ out tournament that year (I had the choice of one out of nine brand new Sterns used in the tournament) and what sold me on FG over SM was the heavy metal soundtrack of SM just put me off, the POTC was not deep enough, and FG farted, puked, and said rude things that I enjoyed from the series. If you really want the best show in pinball gross-ery, start ipEcac Pie Eating Contest and stack it with Stewie pinball or Fart multiball.
“Somebody hold my ears...”
“I don’t wanna- I don’t wanna-“
“Dad, I’m scared!!!”
“Louis, get in here!!”
“Who wants chowder?”
Now, will I eventually look for a R&M after playing one? Time can only tell, but we love the show- let my wife fall for game-play and it will end up in the collection. She green lit our MBrLE purchase when I was only looking for a classic edition, so anything can happen.
"Now don't give it away, Meg. Make them work for it."
