Quoted from seenev:I was thinking about the under playfield design and how inefficient it is. Instead of making a custom pcb for an area with a lot of leds like you see on any Stern, JJP, cgc, etc. Game, they reuse the same tiny single led board like 30 times. Why? It has to make assembly take longer. My guess is that they cut corners in development and figured it would be cheaper to reuse one board a bunch of times instead of developing custom boards. The more I look at this game the more it just looks cheap.
Quoted from ralphcousman:The artist that did the playfield is not the main artist for the show. From his website a lot of the art work is very pastel and “trippy” which is ok but to say the playfield color palette matches the series is laughable. Should have went with another artist. The playfield is freaking pink and yellow. And it’s just characters thrown about and stuff from the title sequence. No depth to knowledge of the series shown in the artwork. Big disconnect.
I have a rick and morty tattoo! Wanted this machine sooo bad but that playfield art will never be in my lineup.
That makes a lot of sense.
Quoted from bangerjay:When I bought family guy, I completely avoided all media surrounding it. When I opened the box, it was my first time seeing it
+1. Streams are nearly worthless to me. Watching someone play is always boring, no matter the game, and in no way gives you the feeling of actually playing the game.
