Quoted from Mike_J:

From what I’ve seen, it doesn’t look like a 9K pin.

Good thing they're not...whew. Game looks fantastic, but so did Wonka when I preordered it and that game is a turd, lasted 3 weeks. Hopefully mine is ready by May.

Quoted from Mike_J:

Yeah, Wonka was a snooze fest for me.
What is the price for Rick/Morty?

$6995 is base price, hopefully it'll be the rare pin that holds its value or even increases.

Hopefully.
How much was the loaded version with butter cabinet?

It's optional, and not sure. All I know is I'm not paying extra for the same art that's hidden by other machines. Mine will be around 7600 with the knocker and bloodsucker edition extras. Also ordered right away at 9 am, within the first 100 orders. I wouldn't of ordered if I was near the end, not worth a year to year and a half wait. Four months wait is nothing, just did that with my JP Premium.

If you've got the money and like the theme, you've got nothing to lose. Atleast that's how I look at the pinball hobby. 75% of my purchases are NIB, sure I lose some money when I sell but it's just money. The art looks great BTW. This has been an expensive December, WOZ, MMr and now RAM.

U picking up in person? If not shipping is another 200-300 which most will pay. Also heard spooky charges taxes depending on which state its shipped too? So since most ordered the bse most will be right near 8k before any extra stuff or possible taxes. So 8-9 k is a real possibility with all the extras, shipping and tax.

I am picking up in person, they're only 4 hours away. With the new tax laws, isn't it if an online retailer sells more than $100k in a state, then they have to pay taxes for every transaction done in that state? Unfortunately taxes are a part of life. I don't consider taxes part of the cost, when you go to sell a machine do you try to recoup the taxes paid? Not me.

Each state has a different threshold, usually involving total revenue, number of sales, or some combination of the two.

Ahhh, sounds like a nightmare for an online retailer.

No idea on laws.... and I've never paid them on a pin and if I had to I wldnt as that's a huge cost on a 8k purchase. Crazy how expensive these are getting for what you get

Come to think of it I haven't either, purchased 8 games this year between Automated Services, Classic Game Rooms and Fargo pinball. I suppose that would be almost $500-$600 in taxes per game. I guess I'd have to think about if paying the tax would be worth it first. Shipping is understandable and expected if not a Stern. Fortunately with our hobby you can recoup 80%-90% of NIB price when you sell. I always think about the $200 Whirlwind I found last year, then flipped it for $2500 or the $900 EBD when I think of my NIB losses. We've got it pretty good to be able to be in the hobby in the first place. Just don't tell my wife the actual cost of the machines.

well, the question should be why did i get 1.

It should be "why didn't I buy 2?"

Quoted from Skyemont:

I try so hard not to be a impulse buyer. With this one I felt like if you did not make your decision within 2 hours, your doomed. I don’t like pressure like that when spending 7500 and not even seeing a video of game play. I’m glad Spooky sold out. But this ones not for me.

I had two weeks to make my decision. From announcement to taking orders, next September will be awesome.
