I think to some extent I have to. It would be hard to justify spending $4-$5k on a machine if it didn't hold a good portion of its value.
I don't buy machines thinking of making a profit. However, I do buy knowing that if I want to sell it the cost of ownership is hopefully minimal.
The only LE I've bought is TF because the market price on it was very reasonable. It's hard for me to justify dropping $7-8K on a luxury item that may be worth half that in the near future. To me there are better options for machines and my money.
