looking at a Star Trek Pro NIB w/shaker and insured shipping for $5593.00. Two for sale on pinside for $4800 and $4900 used with no shipping included. Seems like a the new would be the way to go? Am I missing the forest for the trees?

Quoted from MikeS:Buying new at this point in time is risky with the potential for playfield issues. I'd try to track down an original run Pro if you can. The playfields and cabinets are built better in the 2013-2014 timeframe. I think that was before the switch to water based clearcoat as well as well as before Stern's move to the new factory.
Thanks!!!!
