    Yep. Designed by young people. Presbyopia gets us all in the end. My optometrist calls it short arm disease because all her patients make the same joke:

    I used to be able to hold things far enough away to read them but my arms must have got shorter

    Good, bright, direct light helps a huge amount. I have a halogen lamp above my soldering station these days. Magnifiers help. Being a bit short sighted to start with helps too.
