Check out the pole position cockpit!
Tom Araya??? How is he on the list?????? Dio/Halford for the win. Sorry Bruce............not that good.
Quoted from dhard:
Where's the vids guide to heavy metal singers
Can you imagine the endless arguments ???
You don't know the difference between Hard Rock and Metal ????
I'd say that's more Power-Grundge than Metal !
It says on AMG that DRI is Speed Metal NOT Heavy Metal, are you stoopid?
He was only Metal on those last 3 albums. Before that he was Blues Based Hard Rock, FYI.
Sorry dude, that's total Nu-Metal.
Aggrotech is how they define themselves, so I don't know where you get off calling them Heavy Metal.....
That's Math Metal, not Metal.
They've been Doomcore for years, wake up!
Did you not know he was the leader of the Post-Metal revolution??????
Quoted from Frippertron:
Guys, go on YouTube and listen to Keeper of the seven Keys part 1 by Helloween and tell me Michael Kiske isn't a beast. He isn't as popular as the others but WOW.
I voted for DIO, but you are absolute right. I saw Kiske oft enough (First time 1990, last time 2016) and in my opinion he was and still is the best!
Going to see Judas Priest April 15th in Seattle. Staying near pioneer square on the 14th. Looking for tips on good bar restaurants nearby......
Now that this thing ran it's course, WOW, Dio really mopped the floor with everyone else!
I wrongly assumed that the Maiden pin would boost Bruce to the top.
Lemmy and Klaus beat Bruce too.
Well you stacked the poll with him on top what did you expect most people only read the first few and you buried Rob Halford on the bottom but a win by Dio is a win he's definitely not The Last In Line

I copied the top 10 out of 25 from another poll on the web, and that was the order the names were in.
Obviously no one had a problem finding Halford.
Although it was funny that Old Man Pinside gave Andy LaPlegua last place, cuz he was 7th in the other poll....
Who won the category's first Grammy?
So the answer must be Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson. Q.E.D.
Dave Mustaine because not only can the dude play guitar, but he composes and sings all of the songs too. Doesn’t have the best vocal range but metal is suppose to be gritty anyway. That my opinion anyway. If I had to only listen to one band for the rest of my life it would be MEGADETH!!!
A little late to the party, but l will cast my vote for Halford. Saw Priest at the Detroit show, and was pretty impressed - dude is 66 and man, he still can sing! Had a hard time deciding between him and RJD, but I ended up going with Halford... (Dickinson comes in 3rd of those listed.)
