I have played both, but as someone who is a longtime gb fan and also hated the hobbit movies, it's difficult to be objective. Ghostbusters kept drawing me back to wait in line again and again. It's possibly the best looking and most packed Stern to date. It was also a blast to play and included some of my favorite playfield design elements. I actually enjoyed Hobbit too, but I dont understand why every machine I have seen has been setup slow and floaty. Is there something to hide? I don't get it. It was nowhere near the rush of playing gb, but I could see it being fun with solid code in much the same way AFM is. It still doesn't seem like a lot of bang for your buck, especially when comparing it to GB...
