I've been saving pinball $ for a while. I passed on GOT and am thinking about Ghostbusters. Currently I really want to see and play the following: Ghostbusters, Full Throttle, Alien and Rob Zombie.

I'm not convinced that my 2016 dollars will get me a Hobbit or TBL, even if I wanted it, in 2016. I'd be more likely to wait until they are actually available. P3 had my curiosity but not full blown attention at this time. If CCr or BBBr is the next remake, I'm in. If it's not, I'll pass. Those are the only 2 90s games in which I'm interested in a remake.

I'll likely make up my mind at the TPF in a few weeks. For now, my answer is more than one.

Quoted from usandthem:

Does anyone know how to get a NIB Stern Pro or Premium for less than $4895/$6500 respectively, including shipping? I was ready to get one until I was quoted those prices. Last I checked in 2012 for AC/DC, it was $4050/$6050 respectively, including shipping. I sincerely appreciate any leads.

The distributors don't make a lot on the NIB games. My best guess is that it's a few hundred bucks at most. Unless it's a bust and they have to unload it for business purposes or they personally offer you their price, I don't see it.

I find most of the well known distributors on this site (excluding those that maintain a large retail brick and mortar store) to be very close on price. From there, it comes down to your personal preference.

Maybe he's just talking about paying for it in 2016. Doesn't say anything about receiving.........

No rules here.

Quoted from Mudflaps:

Unfortunately, I'll likely be away on a 'business trip' when it's released.
I'm still buying, but I'll use the reviews and comments while I'm gone to determine Pro vs Premium.

I've got this. Ship it to my address. I will actively play test it and dial it in perfectly. It will ready to go when you arrive back here where your country needs you.

Those pics of the red and chrome Full Throttle... Pinball porn.

Where is Homepin option?

That was an oversight on my part. I don't see and option to edit the poll, but it's probably best not to change it after people have voted anyway.

I agree on the JJP pricing. They are very expensive. If you like the full feature set, they deliver in Spades. It's really as matter of personal preference (including the debate on weather or not its fun to play).

There is a lot of great pinball out there that's not NIB. Thanks to places like Pinside, you have access to hundreds of nearly new or well maintained games for sale on a regular basis.

The numbers so far are informatiove. I'm not sure how this reflects actual sales, but it certainly reflects most of my collector friends buying choices.

Quoted from Vino:

How can I help her come to her senses? Met may simply be an drumroll echo away....

One way is to give her $5000 and tell her to do whatever she wants with it. Then go buy yourself a new pin. It will hurt, but definitely give you perspective on what it feels like to see your spouse spend $5000 on a toy.

I would go for a BBBr or CCr. The gossip all points toward AFMr and I have a beautiful restored original.

GB sounds great, but I have to see it. It would be a home run of the pro totally rocked.

Heighway has me really excited. I'm really looking forward to playing one.

TBL isn't my cup of tea.
