I'd hit it.

Quoted from Quiddity:I had my sights set on an Iron Man VE... but I'm rethinking that, slightly. I love me some melons.
Says the person that told me she'd only sell Jackbot to get IMVE and expects the other half of the money to appear out of thin air...
Sounds like background music to me. Why would you do digital sounds effects on an EM-ish machine that's got two bells and a cowbell. I mean, it sounds to me like you'd just settle for MORE COWBELL, RIGHT?
Quoted from ZenTron:The 3 people that own this pin will be pissed as it will devalue their investment
Oh well.
Quoted from blondetall:I have never seen one in person but own one of the 6(?) art board playfields they made and display it proudly in my gameroom. I saw the comments on Facebook and assumed that I was the only female not all bent out of shape about this being released, so glad you like it too. If I had more money and room, I would have no problem with one in my house. I love the look of the crate base.
Oh yes. the facebook is blowing up right now and it is HIL A RI OUS. I can't wait until all those people find themselves suddenly banned from the group. See what happens then. LMAO.
I can't wait to see the price on these, even if I'm ultimately disappointed.
Quoted from jrivelli:I knew I'd be thumbs down, but lets be realistic. All those EM guys out there, you gonna drop even 3k on an EM style game?
This has had so much anticipation I get the excitement, but don't see it being a long last game to be played at home at all
Honestly? Yes, I would. I'm tired of having old beat up EM's. Could I buy a restored one for potentially less. Yes, but in the end it's still a 50 year old game. Parts are still a royal PITA to find, and sometimes, just to adjust because of ridiculous design required by the technology of the day. Armature switch on the back of a relay plate, I'm looking at you, you 45 degree angled SOB with less than .5 degree of tolerance.
Quoted from danisme:Good grief, if there was ever a good time for Stern to get out the delete/ban hammer now would be a good time. I wonder if they will have the balls to go up against the PC crowd.
Comments like this one are just over the top..."Miriam Kennedy Nadler Next up from Stern: Rape Culture Pinball! Features include creepy dudes who think it's the best idea Stern's ever had."
I just snarfed my soda..thanks a lot!
Quoted from Cidco:I love how all the people that are pissed off are missing the entire point of the back glass. It's making fun of men turning into complete idiots around a pretty woman. Hell even the dog has lost his mind. Someone even posted that this is now part of Gamergate! How does that make any sense? I think the entire world has lost it's sense of humor...
Rusty
You know this is serious business if Rusty is posting on Pinside, lol. Hey man!
Quoted from sleethering:I thought this game was tacky and classless when I first saw it on display at the Ohio show a few years ago and my opinion hasn't changed since then. It's especially poor timing, hot on the heels of all the discussion about making competitive pinball a more inclusive hobby for women. I can completely understand why many women are upset about the theme/art and think this is just another contributing factor of what makes pinball on the whole a boy's club. It's a bummer.
Hey, bring on the thumbs down!
I don't remember Jennifer Peavler complaining about the bikini chick on the Neptune backglass, as I stomped her into the dirt year before last in the TPF EM C division finals.

Thumbs down me all you want. It was a truly epic showdown. She rolled the game, I was the lowest qualifier in C div, and then I walked up right behind her and rolled it as well and passed her score. I'm just going to point out that aside from ONE person in our entire community in Dallas (obviously not talking about Peavler here, I don't know her personally and she ain't from here..) I am 100% confident in saying not a single local female *player* would have an issue with this game. Can't speak for the guy's wives that refuse to socialize with the community.
Oh, and I had no idea she was a pinball badass at the time either. Only that she hopped around like crazy and was a blast to watch.
Quoted from fosaisu:New posters are just now discovering Stern's aggressive approach to curating their Facebook page:
Dylan Malone Wait, did they really delete the almost entirely thoughtful criticisms that all boiled down to: "we love you Stern. This is a mistake, you're better than this." ?
LMAO!
Quoted from GetTheJackpot:Liberals have to be the most humourless bunch of whiners in existence. If you are bothered by this pinball machine, regardless of whether you are female or male, you have bigger issues to worry about.
Yeah how the hell does that have anything to do with it. I'm probably "liberal" by whatever standards you use, but I'm not PC at *all*.
Take your politics crap elsewhere. Although it is funny to see that even other countries have to put up with this liberal/conservative BULLSH...
Quoted from DennisNordman:The main cabinet is mounted to the base cabinet using 4 Vibration-Damping Sandwich Mounts. It's actually a bit more flexible than a game on legs.

Man, I'm so excited that you guys were able to work something out with Stern on this. I figured that coming from Stern they would move it to a regular leg-and-bolt setup.. I can't imagine them shipping all that stuff to have the crate as well. It's gonna be horiffically expensive if they're having to make and ship what basically amounts to two cabinets..
Still.. lots of extra cost in materials and production that's "non-standard" for Stern. And I can't put anything under it, lol! Need a price..... the wait is killing me. I'm trying to sell a game, I need to know if I need to sit on the cash or not.
