Quoted from NimblePin:I'm all for customizing machines to further improve gameplay but, having to run down to the hardware store to pick up some various grit sandpaper and a fresh pint of Old Masters tung oil, shouldn't be part of the WNBJM NIB buying "experience."
Or is it?
They don't call it the bleeding edge for nothin'.
I played it a half-dozen times at Allentown and absolutely loved it. The wife got off on the crate and beer cans and detail etc but I really dug the gameplay. I play a pretty even mix of EM and solid state and this felt exactly like an earlier poster mentioned - like an EM on steroids (even though I'm annoyed by that expression). I found myself playing "just one more" while wondering if any fifty-year-old machine could play the same way. Absolutely fascinating and gorgeous, quite unlike this humble button pusher.
F yeah I want one.
