I'm lucky enough to have one on location within a 15 minute drive. I always play it when I visit the location.

One thing I've noticed is that there is a lot of sound variety. I'm constantly hearing new call outs and music.

However, I'm not certain how it would survive in a small collection. It definitely deserves a place in a large collection where it serves as a unique counterpoint to almost any machine.

Quoted from vid1900:

Total pinball nubes walk right up and play her.

This. I saw a grandmother play Nellie, but bypass every other pinball machine including an EM next to it.

Quoted from stangbat:

Will people drop 75 cents to play a game that looks like an EM?

My local place has Nellie on $.75 for 5 balls. For reference, new Sterns like Kiss are priced at $1.00 and MMr is priced at $1.00 (3 balls).

@strangbat I have zero experience as an operator or as a business owner for that matter, so take what I say with skepticism. Many say that it's like no other machine. I agree, but I would put it another way. If you try to categorize this machine with terms used to describe other machines, you will certainly miss the mark.

This is not an EM. This machine has no flow. Unlike every other new machine in the last decade, this machine has an original theme. I'm pretty sure there are no modes, but I keep hearing new sounds. The ball moves slowly, except when it's moving quickly.

People assume the "feminazi" will come out, but I've seen teenage girls and a grandmother playing it. I have not seen teenagers and grandmothers play the Indiana Jones or Bally Wizard next to it.

The price seems rather high, but I called to get some price quotes anyway.

I love deep machines with flow. And I love Nellie.

Make sense?

I hate EM games, but I love WNBJM. If anyone has a lead on one, please PM me.
