Quoted from RobertWinter:I love those Free Play cards! I knew mine was missing something. Oldskool, where did you get yours?
BTW, I added ring kits to the Titan Pinball site if anyone is interested. Both the standard white/black kit and the color-coordinated I have on mine.
I made mine up, you want a copy? here ya go.
WOW I could have done better than that! For the $ spent you definitely should expect better. Hope it all works out for you.
Trying so hard to beat that score! Man it is hard. You set on 3 or 5 ball, on crate and what pitch and power of coils?
The third owner in Aus is here in Perth and we looooooooove this piece of art so much. Fun as buggery too!
Not that I am aware of. Wear is good as it means you are playing it a lot!
Mine is too, I like that. Maybe try some nail hardener ( chicks use it for their finger nails ) I have heard this works.
When all lanes completed and you score the gobble hole. Thinning time happens. Lanes start to flash and are worth big points, it seems call outs are different again. I am sure scores are doubled and the challenge is then to complete all lanes in 1 ball ( firkin hard ) I have not seen the third " mode " nor I have I clocked it. Refuse e to take the glass off.
Sometimes the simple things in life are the best. Love to see a Can Crusher and see/hear her.
Quoted from RobertWinter:Has anyone tried putting the PBR code into a Nellie? No code on their site but *someone* must have backed up the PBR code on their machine...
I would like to do this too!
I have one thing and one thing only to say.
This is a absolute keeper of a game, no moaning saying code will fix it or it looks like "---" It is pure, simple, aesthetic and most of all addictively FUN.
For us lucky enough to own, go play her now!
Quoted from Fulltilt:I still kick myself for not buying the standees when they were forever on Pinball Life. What the F was I waiting for...
Ask Stern, they may have a couple in their shop?
Quoted from Kenz:Only 4 in the uk. Very happy with my purchase. In fact it’s better than I expected and really well made for a Stern. It’s a nice change of gameplay to my other pins. It defo has that just one more game.
Joins my Scared Stiff and Party Zone..Well done Dennis and Greg. Can we please have another update. More tunes and call outs and maybe a family mode too..
This is quite simply a VERY unique game that if you on sell it, you will regret it! Aint nuthin like it.
Congrats. MELLUNS!
Try again but make sure you format the USB stick and only have the game code on it.Nothing else.
Thats as far as I can help?good luck Dude
Mine had the knocker but those chimes look the bomb Dude.
Where did you get those and how to implement?
Quoted from rennervision:My WNBJM that arrived today is all set up and I have a couple of questions for fellow club members.
1. Does anyone know where I can go to get more details on the different difficulty levels for the game?
2. Is it normal for the power supply's fan to be loud? I suppose I don't notice while playing, but man is it noticeable when the machine is powered on and waiting for the next game. If you take the backglass off, it sounds like a 747 getting ready for takeoff.
Via the normal menu in the portal and also dick around with some of the coil settings to make it even more fun, especially the flipper power! ENJOY
Quoted from rennervision:Also, I noticed the default setting for the rollover lanes is for your progress to carryover from ball to ball. For a true EM experience, would this normally happen? I'm thinking about setting this so the lanes reset after your ball drains but would be interested in other opinions on what they like.
I don't like lane change, taken off ball save, no extra ball, I play with the sound/ call outs turned off sometimes so I can hear those lovely bells/ chimes , lane carry over is fine until you reach " the second/ third mode which must be achieved in the ball you are playing ". I believe this is SWEET mode.
Also set mine on 6.5 degree pitch with stronger flipper coil power and boost up bumper coils so it is firkin fast.
It HAS to sit on the crate as it allows some fantastic nudging.
Oh man I love this game, better go and play her now
MELLUNS !
Oh and a house rule of mine is that when you hit the gobble hole you MUST gobble like a turkey.
TOO MUCH FUN for a simple game.
No need for real chimes/bells. If I remember correct you need to turn down sound attenuation to zero.
As far as skill shot make sure, mine did this a few months back and found out another switch on play field was too close thus cancelling skill shot. Do a switch test and see.
Basically just stuff around within the portal menu and see what YOU like.
HONEY DEW WHAT !!!!!!!! he he
Quoted from Fulltilt:Just lookin' around to see who still had WNBJM machines still for sale.
Spotted it on Marco for $9999.00!
https://www.marcospecialties.com/pinball-parts/500-55D7-01
Is it finally catching on how much fun this game is?? (:
Have knocked back some very high offers due to its uniqueness, collectability and limited quantity.
upwards of AUD$13k.
Truly a LE model.
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:Is there a ballpark consensus on how many were made? Maybe 200-300?
I would think no more than possibly 100?
Very few people on Pinside seem to own one.
We are 4 then of the lucky few.
Is the sited one in QLD on the crate? Wonder how much it earns as it was the highest earner in USA for quite a while.
On Pinball Owners .com last count was 17, surely there are more than that globally.
This title is a TRUE limited edition and very, VERY special.
HONEYDEW WHAT?
#238 Oh my god, the paper is ripped and the screws chewed the wood WARRANTY!
this is my serial number for Aus
#239 there should be a can inside if later model. Early built models like mine and Fulltilt had to get a seperate goody package as they were missed. Should also be a little plastic Melony and a Buck Off key chain.
ser - 1 (resized).jpgI think we ALL would like that print. I will look around too!
DennisNordman
It might be Dennis's truck?
Quoted from zenbone:I did have a question, how do we change the songs/audio?
could there really be only 80 of these?
Play around in the portal with music attenuation to achieve some varied results with bells n chimes etc. you can't really change the songs as such, but you can turn them off.
I believe this and PABST are true limited editions as there are very, very few around.
MELLUNS!
It is just a 10SMD LED strip from Comet and connected to the GI circuit only ( may take out the NODE board if connected to control lamp ) You also have to penetrate the play field for wiring.
The strip is stuck to the outside of the inner metal barrier of gobble hole so it illuminates the plastic.
That is it and cheap.
Quoted from blimpey:I was hoping that would have been the case with Can Crusher, but I never saw those roms hit the Stern site.
I wonder if anyone ever tried Can Crusher on Whoa Nellie?
yes , can't say too much yet. wouldn't mind Primus SD card also. hint SD card!
MELLUNS!
Quoted from IdahoRealtor:Agreed. Even the mod was bagging on Whoa Nellie. He said it's a 1-player game. He probably never even played it.
The two " best games ever "
Do you want all three codes for this beautiful game and also the latest WNBJM update?
thank you STERN
https://sternpinball.com/support/game-code/
THIS WILL NOT WORK SORRY, GOT CARRIED AWAY WITH MYSELF
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Quoted from zenbone:anyone here install a shaker in their Whoa Nellie? i was curious what mods are worth installing on the WNBJMs?
I don't know wether it has been coded for shaker but I don't think I would like it any way.
All I have done is fiddle with the lighting and silicone rubbers.
" Best game ever "
Quoted from Fulltilt:Just to stir the group back up again....
Seen many "for sales" lately? No? Cause it's a great game!! (:

" Best game ever! "
Quoted from Fulltilt:I need to get the PABST files.
see my post #438 , very easy to do
Quoted from rennervision:Whenever my ball travels back down the shooter lane, once it hits the plunger tip it ricochets up and hits the glass with a loud "THWACK!!!!!" which scared the bejeezus out of me the first time. I have the playfield properly pitched at 4 degrees. Does anyone else's ball behave like this?
This can happen if playfield is not properly located and locked down or the shooter tip is a bit rough
For anyone interested in purchasing this limited run, unique and fun machine.
One will be available soon as a good friend passed away and this is hopefully going to a good home and help out his family. No pics yet but feel free to offer expressions of interest via message on serious offers.
Perth, Western Australia.
Double check of STERN support page.
Such a good choice of game, looks great on or off and very addictive gameplay
MELLUNS!
What does STERN Support say about this?
A boob machine? I like it more as a unique theme. EHOH you just cant compare as this is a superb machine in itself
Quoted from D-Gottlieb:Nobody wants to help?
I want to help, but can’t offer anything.
Had an issue with display in apron on opening. Resolved straight away and solid as.
You can set 5his game up in many ways including sound, rules, coil strength and table angle.
It has options for bells, but don’t believe anyone has utilised this.

Melluns
Quoted from zenbone:Was wondering if anyone has done anything with their crate wood? I have been thinking about hitting it with orange oil but eh.... might wreck the look or mess it up. Thoughts?
leave it as it is, I am sure it has have some protection it( i think it was cleared after distressing the timber )
I use Mr Sheen on mine as it is a furniture polish and works a treat
Choose either one through the menu and go scroll through the menu after implementing and see what changes.
Its the only way youre gonna know.
It does affect things like lane rollover changes or not, lane change carry over, skill shot etc.
Quoted from ToucanF16:Wonder if Stern’s WNBJM aspirations came up short and used the stockpile of parts and pieces to make Primus and Domino’s??
Yes, Primus and Pabst
Quoted from GAP66:Like Oldpinguy said, I too ALWAYS smile and have fun playing with Nellie and her big juicy melons.
But Nellie is the horse!
Quoted from Mundy53:Machine - For Sale
Beautiful, but I want this sort of $$$$$$$ to make me consider selling my Whizbang version.16,995 (OBO)
Firstly congrats.
Might pay to ask tech at Stern as I am only aware of the adjustments you mentioned.
Standees might pay to reach out to Dennis Nordmen or Greg Frerez via social media and ask.
Its just so dang beautiful and unique a game I cant believe they didn't sell thousands.
MELLUNS!
Quoted from D-Gottlieb:Honestly is not hard to make. Take a stock shooter rod, form a dollop of hardening clay, paint and clear coat. That's all it is.
I personally don't like "mods" like this shooter rod on any machine.
Quite often see these missing if put in arcades.
i do hope you find one though. good luck with the hunt
