Quoted from ZNET:Collector, Brad Grant (of California), made the 1st home-grown version
Was the one at Pin A Go Go 2013 Brad's?
Edit: Oh wait, of course not, the one in question had the crate stand, n/m.

We should probably wait until a confirmed price is actually announced. But I agree, if it's that high it's basically aimed at a handful of wealthy collectors who didn't get a chance to grab one of the originals, and that's probably about it.
Quoted from ek77:It's funny to hear all the complaint's on the Stern logo when games like Gottieb 300 had the Gottieb logo on the backglass apron and even the playfield. Bally Evel Knievel had the Bally signature three times on the back glass . A logo on a shirt or cup no big deal
Notice I'm not complaining about the Whiz Bang logo.
I guess they're co-releasing it, instead of Stern building it for them, ala MMR.
Quoted from epthegeek:Maybe it runs on SPIKE now, so they had code work to do.
Oh great, now we're going to have to wait for Stern to finish code on EM level rules?
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:The four originals do, but will the new ones made by Stern?
The first of the 4 originals is still an EM, only the ones after it use that new system. I've only played the EM one since my friend owns it, so I'm not sure how the solid state ones feel.
I fully expect the new machines to be solid state, faux-EMs. I just wasn't expecting them to be "Stern" releases I guess. Not the end of the world or anything, but I'd rather have the old original Whiz Bang merchandise.
