Alright my Iron Maiden brothers, we have been neglected by radio for decades, dismissed by the Heavy Metal Hall of Fame............WE WILL NOT BE REFUSED A GAME BY STERN. We have heavy Metal insiders at Stern that understand us and we need to empower them to get this done for us.............I am speaking about our good friends Borg & Sheats. If we are to get this game, the time to strike is NOW!!! Stern is nailing down the licensing for 2014 and we need to flood them with everything we got. Hit their face book page hard with Maiden comments. Let's keep the Maiden comments alive here at pinside, until they give us what we want!!!!!!!

    UP WITH THE IRONS!!!!!!!

For me Iron maiden is my prefered metal band, the one i started with, and the artwork on the covers of the vinils would fit awesomely in a pin. for me would be a muts have, Le al the way, stern would have my balls caught in this one, if they ever made it.

    Up the irons bro.

    #3 6 years ago

    Yes, please.

    #4 6 years ago

I'm there for this game, pro,LE or premium
Lot of thing to do with Irom maiden

    #5 6 years ago

Make it happen, soon I hear it's confirmed i'm putting $10 000 on the side.

Ship oversea, create very lot production number.

Overprice it, welcome flippers, do your worse but that LE is mine

I am in! Hopefully, Stern will keep the same formula as Metallica. Hand drawn art is a must. You could have each mode represented by a different Eddie.
I just saw Maiden again last summer at Summerfest in Milwaukee. They were exactly how I saw them in 87'...just frickin' awesome!

Wow! Great picture...that could seriously be our backglass. Nice work!

    #8 6 years ago

The trooper for the head and live after death for the cab, powerslave for the backglass

    #9 6 years ago

I would buy it for sure
    Art package would be killer.

I have to agree, the artwork would be awesome...and I like hard rock...just could never really get into Iron Maiden's music...good luck to all of you fans getting your wish...just think there are numerous other bands with more commercial/mass appeal.

    #11 6 years ago

it would be a huge seller all over the world. i'm in!

    #12 6 years ago

Yep IM would be a must buy for me!

    #13 6 years ago

I would be in on this in a heartbeat. There is no better theme and artwork to base a pin on and the music kicks some serious ass. They have plenty of great songs to fill out the game.

    #14 6 years ago

    Nope not me....
Would rather see an Ozzy pin

    All aboard!!!!!!!!! Ahhahahaaaaa

    #15 6 years ago

Number of the beast or piece of mind le. It would save me from trying to re theme a game. Fingers and dollars crossed. Imagine the Eddie toys.

Bruce and Nikko are definitely open to the idea. Nikko shared interest with a friend of mine and Bruce was quoted in an interview.

. The one thing that we never got with Maiden, that we really wanted to do, was the "Iron Maiden Pinball Machine." In the '80s, there was a pinball machine sort of craze and we would have done anything to have an Iron Maiden Pinball machine made just so each of us could own one!

That is why Iron Maiden never had to sell out like all the other so called metal bands.

It's a good thing, believe me.

Otherwise you would never have later day masterpieces like Wicker Man or Paschendale -that are as good as their early stuff.

    #17 6 years ago

    No thank you please.

I doubt they would sell very many.

Less than 1000 I would bet.

    Your doubts are unfounded.

Actually almost 2x as many Pinsiders wanted Iron Maiden over Metallica in the poll :

So true.............Iron Maiden is the only band from the day that I still buy their current stuff. Sad, but true.........No pun intended.

    #20 6 years ago

    Iron Maiden?
    Excellent!
    [air guitar]

    #21 6 years ago

    Would love one !!

    #22 6 years ago

I'll still buy the new Metallica, try to listen to it for a week, but it sucks and I end up deleting it from my Ipod.

But new Maiden is great, they simply still have the chops, they simply have not burned out yet.

    #23 6 years ago

Put me down for two LE

    Up the irons

Lets start a count list so Stern can
Get pre order list done just like JJP did
My deposit is ready Gary $$$$$

    #24 6 years ago

I'd buy the LE.... FOR SURE. More interesting to me than Star Trek actually.

That blue picture is awesome, would make a "killers" backglass!!

I've been pushing for a Maiden pinball for about 2 years, so welcome aboard the Good ship Maiden!

    #28 6 years ago

I'm in for an LE thats for sure! Maiden is the best im sure they will sell a lot here in europe. Not sure how big pinball is in south america but maiden is huge over there.

    #29 6 years ago

I want something original. No music themed or super hero themed please

    Quoted from lordloss:

Gary Stern already said no original theme pins.

They just don't sell overseas, at all.

    #31 6 years ago

    AAAAAA++++++

    HELL YAH.

    #32 6 years ago

enough with musics pins, what's next?

    #33 6 years ago

I think it would be a great theme. So much cool art and music to choose from! One hurdle to overcome (if it ever happened) would be the abbreviation. We've already got an IM. Suggestions?

    #34 6 years ago

my wife wants a Magic Mike pin hehehehe....

    #35 6 years ago

I wonder what percentage of sales go overseas

    50%

I would buy one for sure.
Pretty sure DWG would buy at least one too!

    I guess more than 80%

    #41 6 years ago

Oh yeah! STERN make it happen!
But I would like to have the small LCD for this pin. So maybe late next year.

    #42 6 years ago

This pin would never be made IMO. Kinda hard to justify making a pin for 193 fans.

Okay, so I kid a bit, but I have known all of 1 fan in my life. I doubt most people could name more than 1 song and that might be optimistic.

I admit I might be completely wrong, but this would rival Sterns NBA title and it would require 80% of sales to be overseas to hit that mark. It would have cool art though.

I like Maiden but i want a Monster or Zombie Pinball instead...or before Maiden!

    #44 6 years ago

Sadly, Gary Stern already said "too gross" on a Zombie pin a few months ago.

Hope you got in on Jpop's zombie pin last year.

    #45 6 years ago

I hope they make it just so that I can be right in how few it will sell.

Sure maybe lots of pinsiders want it but that's only a small percentage of the pinball buying market.

Pretty sure I do have a clue and I have a very good idea what bands and concerts sell well in North America and maidens sales are not very high compared to say ummm acdc and metallicas still are and always have been.

    #46 6 years ago

    +1 on IM
I wonder if Dirty Donny can do IM art

Derek Riggs makes Dirty Donny's work look like kindergarden refrigerator art.

You do realize they have sold 85 million CDs/records world wide??? Pretty sure that it wasn't just 193 fans buying all of them.

    #49 6 years ago

It would probably outsell Ac/DC worldwide.
I don't think some of you recognize how big a band IM are worldwide. And Maiden fans that could afford it, would HAVE to own the pin. Merchandising is up there with Kiss.

Yes, skulz, DWG would be in for one! If there were 2 LE's, I'd probably be in for 2.

    Hmm, not enough fans?
Let's see, if that is true....
    Rio:

    Can you count the fans?
    Chile:

    Germany:

    Bilbao Spain:

    Moscow:

I can go on and on..... but it looks to me like there are more than just a few "Blood Brothers" out there in the world, so UP THE IRONS!

I don't need a Iron Maiden pin right now after Metallica, but come on guys. this would be a BIG, GREAT Theme for the whole world!
