If so, what color flipper rubber are you using with the purple bats (superbands/standard rubber)? I'm thinking of using a purple set I have had for years (ordered by mistake), but would like to see some pictures for ideas.

Thanks,

Purple with yellow rubber works well on xmen. I run yellow bats with purple super bands.

purple bats with orange rubbers on MM. On CV I was using purple with white rubber

Purple w/yellow rubber on CV. And flippers still have the same great feel. I could see purple with red rubber on Transformers!

I have purple bats with red rubber on my STTNG, it's... ok at best.

Purple with yellow rubbers on MM, purple with orange rubbers on TOTAN.

I sort of matched the rubber colour to the colours on the inlane plastics. Maybe a step too far?

I can only imagine the combination of colors. Anyone got pics?

I paint my flipper bats for each game. Here is my MET with purple bats and red rubbers.

For a little spin, here is my ST with blue bats and purple rubbers.

I like those metallic purple. I was thinking of adding purple bats to my BSD to "accent" the PF a bit more. I may pick a pair of these up.

Back when I had my TOM I installed purple flipper bats with red rubbers. Looked sweet. Damn, miss that game

Purple bats with green rubbers look great on CFTBL.

very interesting combinations for sure...

QQ, do white super bands show dirt fast or at all?

Just so you get the right ones. These aren't for sale at retailers. I painted them with auto paint. Base coat is a metallic silver with a candy purple top coat then cleared. I'll give you the paint colors specifically if you'd like. They are duplicolor. Fairly easy to do.

My buddy is running them on his MM with yellow rubber.

No, I reiterate, you can not buy the flippers that are on that game. They are custom painted. You can get some that look close but you can not buy the ones I have. I specifically stated this in my follow up in case he was wanting something exactly like mine so he didn't buy those and wonder why they looked different. Those are all nice but not the same. Mine are a metallic candy purple with a metal flake base. You wouldn't be able to tell the metal flake in the pics as it's subtle but catches the light.

I know how frustrating it is to see something you like, buy what you thought it was just to be disappoint it wasn't what you thought which is the only reason why I'm trying to reconfirm this.

WCS would be a good candidate.

WCS looks good with the gold ones....
