Do you need to order from Jersey Jack, or are others selling them too?

Robert

#2 9 years ago

Aside from JJP, I saw an ad for them on Mr pinball classifieds.

Quoted from gweempose:

They have a network of distributors ...

Yeah, I just found that...but none are the usual Pinside sellers.

I wonder if that's a total list?

I am a pinside seller and buyer and have been on RPG for years. Just ask I can send you references, many people have bought from me over the years, since 1991 brick and mortar and since 1999 on the internet. I have over 20 pins you can come and play at any time in a showroom and another 10 in the house. I am running a special with in person free delivery if you are in my service area. Just make the call 276-883-2073 or email me here on pinside. I welcome the business opportunity!

Buddy is a great guy and good to deal with. got a BDK from him, deal with confidence

#9 9 years ago

I'm getting mine through Buddy, communication has been excellent.

#10 9 years ago

Buying mine from Buddy also.

#11 9 years ago

Is it cheaper to buy from buddy or just direct from pinballsales?

#12 9 years ago

I can highly recommend Doughslingers (Buddy) if you're looking for a WOZ. GREAT guy to deal with and has a fantastic selection of pins to play while you are picking up your WOZ.

I bought my Spiderman from Buddy. I highly recommend him - excellent communication, good businessman and he is patient enough to let you spend the time with you. You may even make a new friend.

I am surprised that distributors still have the Emerald City Edition still available...

Really? Tons of people got a pre-order down cause it was refundable. Guarantee lots of people have been backing out with the extended times and Stern releasing 2 pinballs in the meantime. I have no doubt they'll sell out but I think you'll see a handful become available again when the time comes for the final non-refundable payment being due.

#17 9 years ago

I dumped my 2 slots, sold another after 5 months. BTW no one offered the $6500 I had in the games. That's why 2 of them went back to JJP. The third did barely go for $6500! I know others are jumping out. Buddy is offering WOZ LE's for trade on BW games. Call him, he'll trade you out of a good BW game for a WOZ. Smart money is staying in the BW titles!!

#18 9 years ago

Listen, Deal in complete confidence with Buddy(Doughslingers). No one else will give you the customer service or deliver like Budddy. Great guy and a collector himself. Not a distributor out for only the money.

Actually, I think most have already paid in full, and only have to pay the $300 or so in shipping.

As you can probably see, I'm 2500 miles from you, but in any case I won't be buying from Cali, so anything will need to be drop shipped.

Thanks.

Hi everybody. We are a Jersey Jack distributor. Based out of Michigan. We are family owned and have been in business for over 50 years. We will be stocking both standard and LE WoZ's. We are a fairly new member of Pinside. I also am a pinhead and currently own ten pins. Waiting on my number eleven to be built. We support the MI pinball expo every year. If you have any questions you can contact me or check us out at www.abelelectronics.com. Thanks Gary

Looks like Jack's company pinballsales.com is out of the LE, at least it's no longer listed for purchase on the website.

DC is correct, the payments were due a long time ago but they worked with people that wanted longer to pay.

Darn, looks like I missed out again. I would love to pick up someone's LE slot for $6500.

Its a work in progress as we are a family run operation and my brothers kids help with the site. Its http://pinballandarcadestore.com/ If you ever need a question call 276-883-2073 office, 276-679-7779 home, 276-219-2355 cell or email me [email protected]. Jessee is correct the price is going up order now. We both are offering deals before July 1, 2012 for a reason. If you are thinking of getting one just do it! Thanks for all the kind words it really is appreciated and a honor to do business with you!

If the price of WOZ goes up I don't see them selling more units. I am shocked to hear the distributors saying buy now before a price increase.
To be honest I am darn sure someone will tire of one and want to sell it. I would rather buy that and also sell it if I tired of it before paying more.
Now at the current price JJP has a shot of me hearing great things and still buying one new.

I am not surprised dealers say price is going up that's the old scare tactic (one of the classic auto salesman tricks) to get an order on the hook

JJP has announced a price increase as of July 1.

#31 9 years ago

JJP website says as of July 1, the standard WOZ will be $7,000.

I am not doing that at all as proved today by the announced price increase. We almost all like to save money, except that baby from the Capitol One Credit Card commercial, so I was trying to help any potential customer make up their mind before June 30. Read below as there not much difference in the two models and a few notes from Jack this morning.

"This past week was amazing for us and for our game, the Wizard of Oz. The reaction at E3 and the Northwest Pinball Show was off the charts. You can still get this exciting game as we are sold out of the ECLEWOZ but have WOZ pins to sell."

Remember, the only differences between the ECLEWOZ and WOZ are:

***Chrome molding not Emerald Green

***No Shaker Motor included - can be added for $200

***No INVISIGLASS(tm) included - can be added for $300

These features added up bring the total to 7500 but if you act before June 30, 2012 I can sell you one of the regular WOZ pins for 6800 with Invisiglass and a shaker motor. I can also sell you an additional shaker motor for 150 that can work on a future JJP pin or any existing Stern with the included small board.

Games are still numbered up to the first 1,000 games too!

The game is destined to become an instant classic!

Features of the Game:

-Hand drawn playfield, plastic set, decal set by artist Greg Freres. Four major mechanical toys; Dorothy's Spinning House, the Witch's Castle, Flying Monkey, Melting Witch.

-Five flippers, Two mini playfields, three Trumper-Bumpers, one Balloon Bumper, Five magnets, One Spinning target, Crystal Ball, Rollover targets, Winkie Guard drop target.

-Full color cabinet and backbox artwork created by artist Jerry VanderStelt will be direct printed and clear-coated.

-Digital Stereo sound system which will boom the music and effects created by SoundMaster, Chris Granner. Front of game audio connection jack for headphone/ear bud. Component audio connection jack at rear of game.

-26" Wells Gardner LCD HD-Quality monitor which will display scores, animation, movie clips, attract mode, backglass artwork and more.

-RGB-LED Playfield Lighting

-Each game will have a numbered plaque affixed to the game apron to be seen under the playfield glass - # of 1,000 etc..

-Silver Color Body Armor

-Bally / Williams Parts

-Premium Clear Coated Playfield

-One Year Warranty

Please note, on July 1, 2012, the price of our Wizard of Oz Pinball Machines will increase to $7000.00.

#33 9 years ago

Geez. $6800 with shaker and invisiglass is actually a great deal. I would have gone that route over $7500 for LE had it been offered

#35 9 years ago

You might be kicking yourself when you see the topper in action though. Looks like it'll be RGB LED like the lights on the playfield and will really fill the room up nicely. Of course we havent seen the standard topper which might be really nice too.
