Or you can get a DMD Extender which supports the large format displays like this. Get a used 17" laptop LCD from ebay and a driver for it, you can be all in for about $200-250. It doesn't support frame by frame colorization but it does support palette swapping the different shades with any colors of your choice.

I have this on my Maverick. Works great, looks fine.

This, or I would suggest the full LED display from PinballSP. It's a single plug and play unit, all one one board. And it's a little more than DMD Extender at $328 before shipping, but fully LED and ready to go out of the box. Let me know if you want links to either.
