got the coils. fixed the problem. but needed more tweeking. What a PIA coil this was to replace. Can't get at the shaft screws, so I couldn't take it out. Had to use a small screw driver and get the coil screw from the side to work it out and extract it. Sucked ass. Then put it together and it wouldn't hold. Not sure if the spring was too strong or what? But I stretched the spring very slightly. Redid the coil seated in the bracket, and slightly adjusted the pull arm, so it had a little more space to pull. Works good now.

Why couldn't you just remove the whole assembly from the playfield?

because I can't get to the screws on the side to remove the gate flap. Didn't have a small enough allen with a sharp curve in it. The key style, were too big to get in there.
