Are you ready to have Dexter on your table, instead of the other way around?

As everyone on earth knows, Showtime is reviving their #1 show (8.7 IMDB), Dexter.

They are negating the worst ending ever filmed (yes, Dexter's ending made Game Of Thrones' ending look like Citizen Kane), and continuing the story line.

They rehired the original director Marcos Siega, the original producers, and they of course have an excited Michael C Hall.

Things going for it:

1. It's 15 years old. Pinsiders love old things.

2. It's new enough that Showtime owns all the rights to the voices and images

3. But most importantly: It has lots of dolls for Pinsiders to glue to their games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Supposedly, the new season assumes the last season never happened

So if you were watching it for the first time, I guess you should skip the final season altogether? Maybe it will become the Starwars Christmas Special of the Dexter canon.

I think a great idea for a spin-off would be Young Dexter.

Follow the genius Dexter through his childhood as he plays with Deb, and mutilates the neighborhood's pets

The call outs could be epic

Every episode had a "hurry up" mode with frantic music and MacGyver-ing

Tons of mini-modes with different "bosses" to defeat

Harry Morgan could guide the player along, pointing out lit shots, or adding tension to hurry ups.

Tons of dolls for pinsiders (very important)

There could be a shot you must NOT hit during a mode to keep Deb from finding out

Final Wizard Mode where Dex defeats the Dark Passenger and kills himself

Kids love Dexter and carry around his lunchbox at school, maybe they'd actually play his pinball machine

A roll of blood covered plastic could be included with the game.

If operators taped the plastic on the walls around the game, it would attract much attention....

On the radio, one of the producers said it occurs 10 years after Season 7

8 gets negated by Season 9, somehow.

8 was so bad, I don't blame them for getting rid of it.

That was Doctor Who...

Season 5 had Jordan Chase and was easily the 3rd best season of the 7
