Quoted from Chuckwebster:Good luck with your Alien. There's a smidge too much risk in ordering from PBs for me. On the other hand what could possibly go wrong buying a machine from guys who skipped out of the UK to avoid a bankruptcy, to set up new business in Sweden, and have a contractor in Italy build their first ever pinball machine? Good luck.
I'm glad lameburger reneged on his lz order. It gives his spot to someone who will enjoy it. As far as quality, I've owned 8 sterns, no issues aside from 1 node board that didn't like a shaker. Which was replaced free of charge, after warranty was up.
Sorry to hear a fellow Washington guy is out. But the10 song thing to me is not a big deal. Especially when next ball starts it picks up where you stopped. The reason I've sold a few of the classics , ss and mb is because same music every ball drove me nuts. At least I have 10 here. Yes ,more would be better, but I'm happy for now
Quoted from Hayfarmer:If we keep feeding this vulture, lameburger, it will never leave
Quoted from beelzeboob:Quoted and archived for future reference.
Mine goes nowhere!
Same ,haha
Quoted from Lamberger:We get it, I played it and hated it. The 3rd flipper is B.S on the pro.
Haha. Play better!! People are hitting center ramp all the time on the pro
Quoted from John_I:I guess I should have said flawless rather than nicest, because I have seen a number of flawless playfields including every AIQ, Rick and Morty and TMNT that I have seen. I've seen aftermarket clear by Ron Kruzman and Captain Neo that are definitely nicer, so yes, I did overstate things in my excitement. But you have to know that the first thing I did considering the problems Stern was having a few games back was to go over the entire LZLE playfield with a flashlight and magnifying glass and found zero issues. The clear on this game as well as every AIQ and TMNT that I have seen is what I would call flawless so Stern seems to have dealt with the terrible clear coating issues that were around a couple of years ago. On the other the only JJP GnR LE playfield that I have seen had some pooling and the clear looked uneven.
And some bad chipping
Quoted from John_I:Hahaha, what are you guys fifth graders or something? Is it not possible to understand having a different opinions than someone else? Personally I have tried to like them, but I think Munsters, WoZ, ToM, TSPP and TOTAN are terrible games. There are a lot of people who would firmly disagree. That's great; to each there own. I wouldn't make fun of them though because I am not a sycophant. GnR is a decent playing game with spectacular light show and a theme that I would never spend a penny on. I MUCH prefer having and playing LZ LE. Simple as that.
What's funny tho is munsters gets lots of play here. Got it very cheap as a quick flip, and will sell it, but its not as bad as the rap it gets here. I would take it over the others you mentioned. Especially totan
Quoted from Lamberger:I think after the huge success of GnR, were gonna see more sought after titles from JJP. I also think if Led had seen GnR before hand, Stern would have been denied licensing, straight to JJP, no doubt... JJP is gonna be swamped with theme license offers. Exciting time for pinball.
And then you woke up,,,
Quoted from Jimmyd044:I was never in but I'm out now. Too many post about electric magic mechanical issues.
Spinner should be easy fix, not too worried bout it.
Quoted from Lamberger:I think MM has that title, but your free to think LZ has it.
BTW, its you're. Not your
