Utopias is pretty good. I have a bottle of tactical nuclear penguin I've been waiting to open. It comes in at 32% or something
I've been drinking the great divide oak aged hero with Belgium yeast lately. Yum
Let me know when Beers and Balls happens!! Id love to brew a Multiball Malt Liquor for it.
Im working on a new barley wine recipe currently
Quoted from LaughingOtter:
ou're exactly the sort of people we need in the Beers And Pinballs competition

Schlafley is a great brewery

@DrStarkweather, Darklord yum!
Im in for trades. I can get all kinds of Texas stuff. Jester King, Real Ale etc plus the stuff i have in the cellar/closet
What are you looking for? Are you on Beer advocate?
These are a couple i tried the other night that were pretty good.
The brewery is from San Antonio
that Autumn Maple is probably my favorite beer. The barrel aged one is to die for.
The bacon Rogue beer on the other hand i could pour on my pancakes. Not the best
Westie is one of my favorites. 85 for a six pack and 2 glasses is an amazing deal.
Hell thats as much as i pay for most o my pins
I'm looking for westie.
So for beers the tastings are always with friends.
We start off lighter with pale ales and pilsners.
From there we move to browns or tripled.
Finish off with the imperial ipa or bourbon barrel aged stouts.
I'm always open for trades
Nimble. I love the bruery. They just released the barrel aged 2 turtle doves yesterday.
I'm drinking a 5 golden rings tonight. I wish they distributed to Texas
We all need to get some beer trading going. I have jester king , rahr, real ale, st arnolds, ranger creek etc for trade
Gruelurks, what time Saturday
Iceman drop by sometime for pins and beers
Pin-it that Troegs Scratch was in the top 2 we tried.
Its only available in Hershey at the brewery.
Map says its only 66 minutes away form you........
From the time of the EM . I recently had a 1974 Gouden Carolus.
40 year old Belgian quad and it tasted like it just came off the shelf
I broke open the Mad elf last night and it was great. I like xmas seasonal and that one was really good. I'm dead up for a spring sampler!
That import company puzzles me. I've seen a number of beers they claim to import but never seen one on the shelf in Texas much less Austin
yeah i like those label collections. Neat way to display them,
I have to get my can collection out someday.
Head out to the brewery if you havent been. Its beautiful hill country out by Dripping Springs
Actually i think thats Funk Metal. Its a 9% Sour Stout aged on oak
They serve all their beers in fancy schmancy wine glasses

Im really looking for a Prop but they were only released in chicago
I also agree on Iron maiden. It made me want to run to the hills.
Here was last night pumpkin bottle share except for the befuddlement. That was a special request
im always up for trades.
I can get Jester King sours and a whole host of other beers Limited and Shelf
OK Law. Shoot me a pm next time
I can offer plenty of bruery, surly ,3rd etc
Look like great time. Here was our beers last night.
Quoted from Jackontherocks:
I expected more from this one. Like the band and brewery but nothing special about it. I usually love beers from England but this one was not bad but not great.
I agree Bleh. Now I am a huge Iron Maiden fan but the beer is generic and tastes like London.
Much better offerings out there.
Anyone going to TPF? If so lets do a bottle share. Im bringing some Breuery, Upland , Jester King and who knows what else
Law, I hope you're bringing some of that back to share . Also I made it to the beer store.
In St Louis for the weekend and stopped by perennial yum. Also a couple other pinball places!
There's about 10 variants that I've seen and they are fairly available. At least in Austin
Quoted from meSz:
Just completed a vertical of Thomas Hardy's Ale! Now have at least one bottle from every year it was produced back to 1968! If you're not familiar with this beer it's one of the few beers that continues to mature up to 25 years (almost like a wine)!
When am i flying up ?
Quoted from Jackontherocks:
Is it still as good as before they got bought out by A Busch years ago.
i think the regular is just as good.
the vanilla is horribly overrated and ive never had a batch i went gaga over
the rare is about the same but it falls into one of those how big can we make a beer things
the coffee is def not as good now as it was
Last nights destruction
Grey monday and black tues are always winners.
The coffee maple bacon was very good
Winner was blueberry cupcake
Quoted from Frippertron:
What do you guys think of temperature?
Agreed. I especially like to drink barrel aged stouts close to room tempature to release the nose on them as well as open the flavor profile up.
Lately its been Mash and French Toast by the Bruery which almost comes off like Pancake Syrup with some oak and a little Bourbon
Black note is amazing this year. I'm picking up some CBS this coming week hopefully.
Pulled one of these Firestone XXI tonight. Lone Pint Yellow rose and KBS also
Real ale? Or is there another? I was at Jester King last weekend. Highly recommended
I've been out for their Real anniversary party. The drive home was interesting......
This melange 10 is really good. A hint of chilies with a back of chocolate and brown sugar
Quoted from High_End_Pins:
First time trying this one I think
Which batch? Should be on the back. Each one is barreled differently.
I really like that beer.
I busted this open tonight. 16.5% sour stout aged in bourbon barrels with blueberry .
Pretty good . Better as it opens. The wine barrel sets the berry off nicely and mixes well with the bourbon notes
Oh i drank that one lol . I havent seen any of this years. I guess i posted the prop. Might have an extra have to check. Ive found the pre 2010 turn to soy but the 14 15 16 are still great
