We love beer... Belgians typically top our list. A good, smooth trippel is my favorite. Surprisingly New Belgium brews a relatively cheap and highly drinkable Trippel. Can't beat a $9 6-pack of a GOOD 9% beer.

As for other beers, Gumball Head from 3 Floyds would be my top pick.

I also brew some of my own.

Right now we have a raspberry infused version of a Gumball Head clone that we just tapped. I have a Regular Gumball clone carbonating now and then have a raspberry trippel and a nicely spiced holiday ale finishing up fermetation now.

Nice an Affligem, a very good beer.
Are some people interested in a West vleteren box here?
I have scored two when they were on sale here in belgium. Have been getting crazy offers for it though.
But i don't think it will be cheap to send over.

way2wyrd is /was not sure?

someone please pick this up and ship it to me!!

I'm looking for westie.

So for beers the tastings are always with friends.

We start off lighter with pale ales and pilsners.
From there we move to browns or tripled.

Finish off with the imperial ipa or bourbon barrel aged stouts.

I'm always open for trades

Bottle says Bootleggers (i think) But I've never heard of them .

They are a local brewery near me, in Fullerton.
So far everything I've tried from them is pretty damn tasty... Especially on tap.
I'm also lucky to have 'The Bruery' even closer. If you, or (Way2wyrd) anyone else needs a guided tour to any of these places just let me know!

Tonight's choice will be:

Actually there is a can revolution as Beer stays better protected than bottle can provide.(better shelf life and flavor consistency) A win win.
Ever have their watermelon Beer they make ? MMM MMM Good in the summertime.

Christmas Morning tradition...

Bells Expedition Stout.

Thick as motor oil, hints of coffee, chocolate and licorice, and delightfully warming for a cold Christmas morning...

Nice haul from The Bruery. I'm hosting a Winter Beer Fest Tasting in my back yard this Saturday here in Michigan. 50lbs of assorted smoked meats and cheeses, and close to 80 people.

The June 2012 one was off the hook.
