Quoted from gliebig:

It was good. I'm just getting into some of the sours, so it's hard for me to give a proper rating. I'll definitely drink the 2nd bottle of it that's in the fridge.

Cool, thanks! My Publix was cleaned out already. If I see it again, I'll grab some.

Different but good.

Three Floyds is making an ESB . It was decent , It’s nice to see a craft brewer do one I haven’t seen many others trying this style .

They have been doing that one for 5 years or so. Its decent, nothing special but worth drinking.

My oldest son got me one of those a while back. Cool little novelty not ideal to drink out of though.

Publix has been doing me right. I've gone from Kona B1G1 Free 6 packs to Goose Island B1G1 Free 6 packs. These aren't great, but they aren't terrible either, and they are cheap. I do envy Georgians living near a Costco. 24 packs of Terrapin Hopsecutioner are $25. 24 packs of 16 oz. tallboy Sweetwater are ~$30. Can't beat that!

First time I’ve seen it , yeah it was decent I just don’t see too many craft brewers doing this style . I wouldn’t mind seeing a few more brewers make one .

Good logic. I hate IPAs but every time someone raves about one I try it as you just never know when the next great beer is a sip away.

If you ever go to Anaheim, CA I highly recommend The Bruery. From light beers to sours to high end BBA Beers.

So I'm on a little getaway in San Diego, and I'm pretty excited to get some good beers I can hardly ever get, like some RR Pliney. I hit a couple of local breweries and then looked at my Google maps for more. It was like....holy fk. I knew they had a good craft scene here, but I didn't know it was THIS good

As of July 22, 2018, San Diego County is home to 157 breweries, 35 tasting rooms and 14 brewpubs, for a grand total of 206 beer locations, 185 of which are San Diego craft beer.

So yeah.....if you book a vacay around sampling microbreweries, you may need about 6 months here.

To make a long story longer, I did stop at a couple of shops to pick up stuff I couldn't get here. I never had any beer from this brewery out of LA, but man did they ever have good beers.

I will admit, every time I looked at the name on the can, all I could think of was (second pic).

Probably shouldn't admit that I purchased this, but had to form my own opinion.... Drinkable.....(an 18pk did cost less than 98% of my usual 4pks (a 30 rack costs less than most 4pks as well))

If it's anything like their sandwiches it will suck! Primanti's is one of those places that locals don't care for but out of towners love the nostalgia of it!

#1899 4 years ago

Its ok drunk food. I spent enough time between there and the O for one lifetime though.

I can't imagine it tasting good, but I think it has potential as a marinade for chicken.
