Quoted from Bowlingpin:So damn good, better than last years born again..
Just finished my last one from last year, lol. Guess i will look for a twelver.

Quoted from swillie:Honestly a little underwelmed by this one. It is good, but not alot of barrel flavor and hops are very diminished.
So is "dank" some kind of new beer buzzword?
It is...dank resinous hops...Waldos is nice and dank...Dankwood not really. Founders Redankulous is much more 'dank'.
Quoted from ultimategameroom:Picked up two cases of Waldo yesterday.
I'm not a date snob by any stretch but I will say that I wouldn't sit on this that long (one year). Recently had a fresh one against one in my cellar and fresh was noticeably better.

I never age ipas and loaded them into the fridge immediately after purchase.
I think you might be confusing my post with someone else’s.
They will definitely be gone sometime in June. I Always keep ipas refrigerated and drink within a couple months at the longest.

You're right - it was Swillie that commented that it "could" last year at one a week. I'm sure that won't be the case. I've had some IPA's that I haven't noticed much change with age, but this one definitely fell off.

No, no it wont...about 15 gone already i am in agreement, drink these while they are fresh. Wish they made them all year but too good to horde.
Quoted from robin:Having a nice Brouwerij ‘t Ij IPA playing pinball
O-din finally hacked Robin's account Boobs!

Hang on. I’ll moderate myself.
Edit: dammit, just found out I can’t.
Quoted from Tonic67:Did someone say Beer!!!
Better get to drinking those hopslams before they turn into shelf turds.

I dig their artwork!

Yep and soon. All of my stuff is kept refrigerated but even with that, (IPA's) do not age well in most cases. That's why there are very few IPA's sitting there.
Hopslam is one of my favorites so I grabbed a few more while they were still available.
Quoted from jgentry:No matter how many I drink I always seem to buy one more then I drank. The never ending beer fridge!
Gotta love Founders KBS.. CBS is amazing as well.
Hey whats that Dr Pepper stuff....

Some BS my wife put in there. I still have 4 CBS bombers. Trying one every 4 months or so.
Quoted from mcluvin:There's a new Sierra Nevada variety pack out that's really good (no duds for me). Can't remember exactly what it was called, but it's the one with the Kolsch, which I thought was particularly good.
Scored some more of this. It's simply called "Party Pack" and is in a tan box. So what's that saying about beer after vodka?
Quoted from trilogybeer:Enjoying this tonight.
Silk Porter is their best beer... had a sixtel of it not too long ago. Problem with Hoppin Frog is .... their prices are too high for their beers!!!
Quoted from way2wyrd:Latest Bruery Haul
The Bruery makes some exceptional beers. Haven't ventured into their Sours yet (not a big sours fan) but with their beers being so good I may have to give them a whirl!
So far my 3 fav US brewery's are Jackie O's, The Bruery and Firestone Walker

Goodness that's a pile.

Their sours are decent, probably not what I would recommend for someone trying to get into sours though. I'd start with more fruit based ones that tend to be less funky and more tart.
I hit 4 beer stores trying to find Two Brothers Pinball beer to take to the party room at the Ramada. Managed to find a six pack only to have them confiscated by the police. They are sitting in some dark room right now marked "exhibit A".

AGREED!
When I saw the box of Hopslams in Tonic's picture, I wondered if it was a current picture or an older one? Didn't the latest batch of Hopslam come out early this year? I tried some of the latest batch on draft and in cans when they first showed up around here, and they were good (mostly like how I remembered them from past years). I ended up buying another sixpack about a month later (this was a month or more ago by now), and the Hopslam cans were total crap. Maybe that last sixpack was mishandled/exposed to heat? I don't know...but what I do know is that all of the good hop aroma/flavor was gone. It tasted like a completely different brew (and a crappy one at that)!
In other brew news, I tasted the latest batch of Lagunitas Waldo's earlier today. I remember liking Waldo's last year, and this year's is good too. However, I think my favorite Lagunitas brew is Born Yesterday. I look forward to trying that one again!
EXTRA!
Here are a couple of weird brews that I liked: Untitled Art Milkshake IPA and Funky Buddha Maple Bacon Coffee Porter. The Milkshake has some mild vanilla/lactose flavors mixed in with an IPA. Hmmm...weird, but kinda good! The MBCP tastes like a sweet/savory drinkable dessert in a glass!
Quoted from Irishbastard:Mule came through.... Nothing like the OG of NEDIPA's....
Oh c'mon !!

Drinking one now and it's fine. In fact, I think I'm getting a bit more of the honey now. Damn tasty! They will be good for another few days..

That's cool, would love to see it. I have a deposit on a premium. May be a bit of a wait to see that one.

F-ing AWESOME!!! I wish that last sixer of Hopslam I picked up a month or two ago wasn't total garbage.
Quoted from hank527:Damn. Can anyone get me some Tree house beers if I PayPal them us extra for shipping and pick up?
Was not impressed with sweet IPAs from Decadent
Loving Evil Twin brewery and some of these others.
I love those Hogaarden glasses too. Use them for vodka too btw.
My other favorite are Duvel glasses, I like them more than the Chimay ones that are similar.
