Quoted from Pinballology:Alcohol is a gateway drug.
To happiness.....
Quoted from swillie:Wow, nice haul!
Finished off the day with 32 total bottles of kbs and 4 bombers of CBS.
Not really any bourbon flavor in kbs this year but a great chocolate and roasted coffee flavor. It should age great.
Some in front of me at a friend's place, we are about to grin ear-to-ear, and
then smile around our heads for the evening.
Quoted from swillie:This one has really amazing barrel flavor, but it is very very boozy.
That my gfs favorite bruery beer
Quoted from way2wyrd:That my gfs favorite bruery beer
The Bruery makes some great beers!
Quoted from AAAV8R:Good thing the bottle says "CONTAINS ALCOHOL" or someone drinking it may never have figured it out.
well have to realize we live in the "it's not my fault" era so if they dont put that on there and someone drinks too much, goes out and drives large machinery and kills someone they cant say "well the Bruery should've told me there was alcohol in their beer" (but not really)
Lagunitas Waldos
Looks amazing on Beer Advocate. Thx for the pointer. I’ll have to find that one.
It’s very nice to see how pinball and beer go together.
Quoted from High_End_Pins:Got some KBS in today.
Yeah, I have a new appreciation for that pic. $25 for a 4 pack at my local Total Wine. No thank you!

Cheaper than and higher quality than a set of TAF apron decals off of ebay

The problem is if I try one and really like it, I'll want more. Homey can't afford that.

$6 isn't that much for a limited release BA stout. There's definitely better stouts out there but it's consistently very good each year. It's pretty much the cost of having a beer at any restaurant these days.
National beer day, who cares if it is cold and rainy outside. So many craft beers and pinball machines need my attention this afternoon. Happy beer day.
Quoted from ultimategameroom:Picked up two cases of Waldo yesterday.
Awesome. I have two cases as well, although I gathered it from multiple places. I can almost have one a week till next April, but they won't be lasting that long.

I almost picked up some of this Friday. Reading the reviews, it just doesn't sound good to me. Couldn't do it.

remove your avatar now!! just kidding, but really dude if you like Lagunitas at all the Waldos is as good as it gets, period.
I love IPAs...English, American, single, double, triple, West Coast, East Coast, clear, hazy, malty, juicy, dry and/or whatever! With that being said...hmmm...these two recent IPAs were just WAY TOO WEIRD!
Needs more pics of beer with pins in the frame.
HEP should take a pic of his beer in front of a recent masterpiece of his. Here's to a job well done.

Ha! I like to read the Beer Advocate reviews and the term "dank" came up a little too often. I guess it was meant in a good way, but it just didn't sound good to me Maybe I'll grab some next time if they still have it.

If you have had Little Sumpin' Extra, that is very similar flavor profile, for me, just more of it. Plenty of sweetness to balance the hops. Everybodys palate and likes are different but at this price you can't go wrong.
