Quoted from GGBGROUP:What I find interesting is that JJP is apparently not reaching-out to its well-established customer base for input on questions such as changing mechs on new machines. I think most of us who have multiple JJP machines would have counseled them to at least reduce the price if toys (and BOM) are reduced, otherwise the public's reaction will be negative. Ivory tower syndrome?
They're trying to have it both ways. Either they need to be a lot more transparent and detailed about the decision-making process in removing the mech, or they need to be like Stern and close off information until launch. The way they're making and communicating this change is really off-brand for a company that's put itself out as the behind-the-curtain, fan-friendly, no-expense-spared boutique label.
