I learned something today.
I learned the name of two pinsiders I will avoid getting into pinball transactions with (buying or selling)
bottom line, cash on the playfield glass.

Sadly, over past 12 months there has been several threads with receiving boards back from John, very much delayed. Great guy and board work. However, he had personal problems and his business suffered greatly from it. He used to be the go to guy for quick rom replacement and custom rom work. He did a few projects for me and worked hard on them. Hope he comes back soon rested up.
This thread is intense! I still don't know who John Wort is but his stock has steadily gone up in my eyes.
Pretty much the opposite has happened to the would-be-seller
I think the OP needs to change the title and remove the “why did he ruin my pinball buying experience” part. I would say the seller needs to be exposed as his reply is what ruined the experience, not Mr Wort.
It seems like John Wort is an upstanding pinball guy and great tech who slowed down a little lately. I’d hate to see him lose credibility because of the title of the thread.
