If was in for a vehicle with limited range, I'd buy a golf cart.

Just look at the rapid depreciation of the Nissan Leaf. That should give you an idea how poor of an investment the Tesla 3 is. Battery technology is the key. It's not there yet.
I kept my last, a tacoma for 12 years. Drove it until the wheel fell off. The Tesla 3 is a specialty vehicle and you'd better love it because it's a poor investment. If you gotta have a Tesla, get the internal combustion engine.
Quoted from jalpert:This is just 100% false, except the 10 years part. Tesla will constantly be improving and innovating and those improvements and innovations will be used in future cars. So yes, in 10 years, the Model 3 as it currently is will be a dinosaur.
In terms of batteries, there is no way to compare the batteries Nissan is using in the leaf to what Tesla is using in their vehicles.
Tesla 3 uses a lithium ion battery. Nissan Leaf uses a lithium ion battery. 100% false?
Drove to Sarasota today and saw numerous Teslas on the road. Most weren't Tesla 3's and looked nice. Wasn't too impressed with the Tesla 3, looks like they forgot to finish the front end. No grill?
I kept telling myself to “back off” on the Tesla 3 and “low and behold” comes the 2024 Tacoma! I know they’re different animals but can’t wait!
Quoted from gandamack:I see that the MSRP on the Model 3 has come down. Now possible to get the base model RWD Model 3 for around $35,000.
I was hoping to get some type of feedback from those of you who have owned a Tesla. My buddy showed me his new Model 3 the other night and I do find that what you get for $35,000 is impressive. But, is there a still an issue with build quality with Tesla cars? Any information would be appreciated because I am thinking about getting one.
Plug in hybrid for me. Considering the Prius Prime. It’s virtually unobtainable at the moment.
Quoted from StrangeSubset1:Foundation edition? What's different on that one?
For that kind of money, I’d get the 392 Wrangler which is probably more affordable.
