Late to the post (late to pinside all together...) but, I'm in the Tesla Model 3 club.
Put my deposit down on 3/31/16, in the blind, before the announcement. Finally got to pick it up, on 9/18/2018. Sold my 2015 Challenger Scat Pack Shaker, which was my previous "dream car", and I've been a Model 3 guy ever since. I do miss my Challenger, but this M3 is an amazing piece of technology, for sure.

Heater is most certainly the reason my range is in the crapper right now. I keep my seat warmer on, and the cabin at 72.
I was a day 1 guy, way back in 2016 when orders opened. I got mine in March of 2018. Its basically my daily driver, if I have to leave the house that is...
It......is what it is, really: a nice, mostly maintenance free vehicle to put all of your miles on. I probably wouldn't be as keen to buy now, as I was back then. I've seen conversations about charging potentially for heated seats, etc in the future. I'm still one of those 'Premium Connectivity free for life' folks, but I'd question it if I had to pay for it.
The Tesla became the 'car to leave outside' basically, while our real cars get the garage.
