Usually Pinside gets accused of jacking prices. LMAO GLWTFS
It's like guys who say "serious inquiries only."
How can he determine who is serious and who isn't? Do you have to promise to buy something to be considered serious?
I'm thinking that he wants to avoid Pinsiders because he's just fishing for a sucker. He knows that (mostly!) everyone here knows pinball ( ) so he wants to avoid it. That... or he's just an idiot as others have suggested.
Quoted from coasterguy:
We've had that reputation for a couple years on RGP from what I understand.
And this is why I refuse to be part of rgp.
I know there are many good people there but I also know there are some real pos there. I'd rather be here where I know I'm among brothers and sisters of the silver ball.
Just go lowball him and say nothing but RGP this and RGP that.
That will get him all straightened out lul.
If you are under 5 and have rich parents you are invited to buy this machine nobody else.
I just sent him a message as well. Doubt he'll want to do business with what I suggested though. Should be fun.
Has anyone here replied to the seller and told him you saw the ad on pinside?
I'm very tempted to do so only because I'm so shocked that a grown man could act in such a manner.
I am one of those PITA people who send people emails telling them they are smoking crack if they think they will get $x,xxx for a machine. In fact, I just saw a Whodunnit that a guy had for sale. He was asking twice what it is worth and in the pictures, he has several error codes showing up in the DMD display. I email'ed the guy and suggested he fix it and retake his pic's with no error messages. No answer yet...
