I see them in the $800 range all the time around here, but deals for less than that pop up now and then too. It's pretty much the only game I ever see in random places on location...no one wants to play anything without a prize anymore

I think on some models you can adjust the grip strength on the claw. I've also heard that on some it only adjusts the grip high enough to make it possible to win on a certain percentage of games.
