Oh yea. I was sticker shocked when I began researching parts. Lots of new old school looking Repops now.
I don't but used to ride a lot as a kid.
I also played the BMX pinball machine often on location back in the day. Been looking for one for years, but because of the scarcity its always a big price tag.
Quoted from johnnyutah:I have a restored 1987 GT Pro Freestyle Tour built like the one I had as a kid:

I originally was looking for one of these. Big $$$ 2-3k
I recently got a monza 24" since the actual retro bmx stuff I used to have is all gonna be 10k by Christmas
The monza is a very nice ride
Have a bunch. Haro master signed by Ron Wilkerson although he rode sports. Chrome trickstar with pink hardware and pink skyways. Blue gt pro performer. And a haro invert from 1989?
Quoted from DadofTwins:My friend growing up had one of these. I wanted one so bad, but my parents never bought me one. Still wish I had one lol. Quick Google search and this one is $975.00 Ouch!
[quoted image]
These Decades aren’t as expensive as other popular Freestyle bikes.. that is a reasonable price in my books.
I'm actively looking for a '88 ish Torker 2 360 or 280. Can rough, but looking for the two tone. I don't like ebay prices though, but still check that and FB MP daily
Quoted from RyanStl:Cool bikes everyone. I should have led with that
BMX Museum. Sales.
Quoted from Gorgar666:$2000 hanging in the attic.

why, cash in while its hot
never did the bmx stuff, but just sold off a collection of 80's and 90's skateboards after 20 yrs of collecting. paid for a new gnr le. wish i still had them, not a fan of the game honestly.
In the past ten years thr market has gone crazy. Those 87-88 performers go for big money, especially original. And they made like a million of them.
And they’re so hard to ride at my age. I guess that’s why gt is making reproductions in 29ers

Haro is too. Masters and Sports. 24’s and 29’s.
Quoted from Drew13:I collect! Just finished this biold. 1984 Hutch Pro Raider. I have three restored bmx bikes[quoted image]
Landing Gear on a Hutch? Wasn’t that a SE thing? Memories.
Quoted from Rody:Leaving these here…

Still have scars from those bear traps!
Quoted from Gorgar666:Landing Gear on a Hutch? Wasn’t that a SE thing? Memories.
Yes, just tweaked the bike a little. It also has the CW handlebars not the traditional Hutch bars
Quoted from Gorgar666:Bear traps.
Yes sir, new old stock. it’s been crazy to watch the price on these skyrocket. Had an offer over 5K earlier this year.

I never had a nice bike until I started mowing lawns and shoveling driveways for cash. I saved up to buy a white Redline prostyler II in 1986! I regret selling it in 1991. It was all white like the one in the pic.
My older brother built us two quarter pipes in our basement. Unfortunately I don’t have many pics but here’s my buddy skating on the ramps.

Nice Honda 200x! is it and 85 or 86? I have a 1983 Honda 185s that I bought new. Mowed a lot of lawns to pay the $1295 that it cost. Every single person who sees it in my garage asks… do you want to sell that? I always respond, No! It’s worth more to me than what anyone is willing to pay.
I had a redline of some sort and purchased a haro freestyler with paper route money when I was like 14. Had an extra set of rims I’d switch out. I loved those tuff2 rims and the acs z-rims I think it what they were called. Those were the times. Still fun to mess around on a bmx trick bike when I come across them. Out of space and don’t need another thing to collect now either.
I have a few 1987 GT OG decal sets that I was able to pic up from an old bike shop 20+ years ago, a few Performer and an OG GT Pro Freestyle Tour set. Also was given this 1987 catalog:

Didn’t have a lot of money back then. All we had were huffy’s and whatever else Kmart sold. Always wanted a Dyno Compe
Awww yeahhh. I don’t collect but still remember buying my 1980 Supergoose with every penny I could scratch, beg, and borrow. Chromed out and eventually added red mags. That bike was my life. Had my son on a BMX and skateboard by age 7. Do you guys still ride them? I’m trying to picture 53 year old me on one and it’s not pretty haha. Keep the pics coming!
I still have my Redline 440 from maybe 1992 tucked away in storage. I've been meaning to tune it back up and get it on the road.
I always wanted a CW Shaker. Never had one. Son has a Redline now, but it's not like the Redlines we grew up with.
Ah cool, a lot of memories in here. Me and all my friends were obsessed with BMX from like '83-'86. I raced because there was a good pro track about 5 miles down the road, but most of our time was spent doing tricks and jumping off home-built ramps. I had a chrome Redline 102b, which was my favorite thing in the world. I'd go to bed most nights dreaming of it and other bikes. Most kids had the usual Mongoose, Redline, Huffy, but the kids of one doctor's family had a Torker and PK Ripper. They'd roll up and every kid's jaw would drop.
Quoted from High_End_Pins:I still ride a little and skate but it’s very casual compared to what I was doing 35 years ago. [quoted image]
Awesome. Love the pegs on the front just in case you get frisky. I tried to show my son how to do a low-key kick turn on his board at his birthday party when we first gave it him and ate it so hard haha. My old bones still ache when I think about it.
I’ve built a few over the years. Pantha is a NZ brand. I had diamondbacks and Pantha’s as a kid

If those are paragrine master mags which they look like they are. The mags I’ve seen priced for $800.
