Sort of a moot point, but out of curiosity, after William's bought out Bally/Midway, which brand do you think produced better games in the late 80s into the 90s?

Also, if anyone knows, how did William's decide what game would be branded as a Bally or as a William's title?

Just curious to see what everyone thinks. Bally had amazing classics like Addams Family and Twilight Zone, whereas William's had games like Tales of the Arabian Nights and Medieval Madness.

    Quoted from Starwriter:

From what I understand, they just alternated names with each title going out the same door.

Lame. I was hoping for some cool inside industry knowledge. Oh well.

If I added a Sega option, then I'd have to add a Gottlieb option, and it'd be the same as any other poll "vs" thread out there.

I assumed that when William's bought out Bally, that naturally they'd have acquired all of their factory spaces and warehouses and such. I thought that even though Bally and Williams were now one company, that they possibly would've continued to manufacture games in their respective factories--thus having different engineering teams working on them. Evidently not. It looks like everything was consolidated into William's HQ and everything was done from there.
