An internet search has provided nothing but questions of who precisely, holds the record for longest pinball play, aka marathon play.
Google says it's Ryan Clancy of Milwaukee, set in 2019 with 32 hours straight (with 5 min breaks). However, Guinness Book Of World Record's own website says it's a guy from the UK, Wayne Johns, in 2016 with 30hrs, 10mins.
Moreover, there was a woman, Mandi Martin of California, who 3x, set a record for longest play, the last record being 555 hours in 2000.
So, in a world run by computers and geeks with stats out the wazoo, how come a simple search of "world record holder for pinball play" brings up at least 3 different winners? I'm almost sorry I wondered who it was at this point, because between being retired and having this pandemic to deal with, I've got nothing but time to sit around and ponder this.
