Have to use pressurized air to blow out the motors. Pop the center (tight bundle of copper) out of the housing when you do that. Also make sure that the reels are secured to the shafts, if they slip at all the computer won't compensate for that. Otherwise 3-1-2 is the right order, assuming the previous tech wasn't swapping connectors or something and hosing the order that way.
