Hi,
I have just bought a Who dunnit and is stripping it down for a total cleaning.
The Playfield is in good shape I would say, my only two problems/concerns:
One is that two inserts that are starting to miss the black border.

The other one is where I really need some help/advice with the Inserts in the middle with clues and with cases:
Cases: You can see a "black" border where the insert is.
Clues: You can see a "white" border where the insert is.

I have attached some images (the playfield is not clean yet)
What should I do? Should I go all in and get it touched up and clear coated? (As said before, the overall shape is good beside those problems).
I really hope I could get some help so I make the right decision.

Thank you all for the answers!
It made me feel a little less worried

It sounds like I should not clear coat it.

But should I not do anything about the small "cracks" around the insert? To stop the crack from getting bigger?l (especially around the clue ones) Maybe some blue paint? Some superglue? I am no Pinball expert, so I don't hope my suggestions are to stupid...

Also, is this cracking around inserts "normal" ?

Thank you all for the help.
I will clean/polish/wax and then enjoy it as it is

Quoted from judremy:

You could also get a plastic playfield protector for it (if one is made for this game). Not a permanent change and you would be able to remove it later. It sits on the playfield but is not adhered to it. I have one each on my WH2O and LOTR.

There is no one yet.
But they think it will be ready for sale around December.
