What's up fellow pinball gumshoes. Just finished up adding some things to my newly acquired W?D I thought I'd share with the club.
Replaced the translate with a repro from Mr Pinball.

New slot reels and decals from PPS.

Added some lighting mods - back panel, roulette table, Tony's Palace, and trough area.

Added a die cast taxi cab at the back. Lit the cab and tied it into the Taxi chase insert lamp. Also added a spot, which is tied to the same insert, to help light up the taxi cab and phone.

Made some custom coin reject inserts for the coin door.

Next, the plan to get a color dmd once they are back in stock. Fun game, really enjoying it so far.
Quoted from ravve:Anyone has a scan of Trixie? I need to make a decal.
Or maybe someone can take a pic and send?
Thanks
Here's another one of Trixie for you.
Quoted from scampcamp:Looks great... I'm thinking of leaving the original incandescent bulbs... it gives it that old time warm glow.... is there an led that's close?
What did the repro translite cost? Is it like a original?
Thanks. Yeah I get what you mean about the old time speak easy feel. Best bet would be to use warm white LED to keep that feel.
I used Comet sunlight for the GI middle and upper part of playfield. Comet warm for the lower and slings. This page on their site is helpful

The translite was 150 plus $23 shipping. Good quality very close to the original. Works great with LEDs in the backbox.
Quoted from jokerpoker:Looks very nice mate. Was this the one from Chad. I nearly grabbed it myself. Great game. I shouldn’t have sold mine years ago, it was in very nice condition but yep cracked ramps. Looks awesome with ColourDMD when you get the chance.
Thanks. No, I got this from a super nice guy in New York State. No cracked ramps on this one thankfully.
Will definitely get the color DMD soon
Quoted from alexanr1:Redid my roulette wheel mod. Nothing fancy, it moves slowly when the game lights roulette light. It’s not moving at the beginning of the video, but does once the end of game music and light show ends.
That’s pretty cool. Nice job. Did you use a mini stepper motor or something?
Sounds like the reels are not in the correct order. Did he recently replace the reels?
Thread about that same issue:

Or it could be the reels slipped on the step motor because of a loose set screw.
The spots on my game are pointed down on the slot machine reels and come on when the reels are in action.
Those are gi lights. I guess they used 555 sockets there for spacing or something. Don’t remember but there may be no room underneath the playfield for 44 sockets
Quoted from scampcamp:On the Auto Fire led/flasher.... it only lights up the Auto & not much of the Fire. Has anyone figured a way to light the entire Auto Fire?
I used a flex LED flasher to get better light distribution.
Quoted from Skatewake:Do you have a picture with your machine on? I'm curious what the Tonys sign looks like with the lighting that you have.
Here are a couple…
