Just finishing up a overhaul of a Domino and got things going about 95%. Started checking the bonus and scoring and couldn't get the dominos to advance all the way to collect the bonus. Checked the domino advance stepper and found that someone filed down the next to last tooth on the gear!! Really? Why would someone do this? Maybe I'm too new to this to understand, but what problem would this solve or correct? I'm sure this isn't even close to the wackiest thing that people do to machines.

Anyhow, I'm now looking for a replacement or an idea (brazing something on and grinding a new tooth?) to fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Yea, so it's out of adjustment? That makes sense but it doesn't have enough steps to get to the bonus unless it's starting at the wrong spot. I'll check that.

Yep that was it. Feel sort of stupid that I didn't think of that first. Rotated two clicks and all good.

Thanks!!
