Greetings, I am restoring a 1966 Williams 8-Ball and need to replace many of the coils.
Who do you go to for replacement parts for 1960s Williams EM machines?

Thanks,

-Craig

Pinball Resource. Why do you need to replace coils? Usually only a couple are shot.

I've never had to replace more than 2 coils in a project game. Usually one fries and the game blows fuses then sits unused for years. Please explain what coils you think are bad.

Most of the time if I need a coil for an EM game, I use Pinball Resource or Marco Specialties. Why do you need to replace so many coils? Are they all mouse eaten/piss damaged?

Pinball resource have been good though I've found Marco expensive on postage to the UK.

As some have said why so many coils? Usually, its the hold relay and perhaps a fried pop or stepper coil too.

If you are replacing just because some wrappers are burnt a little thats not saying they are bad. Unsolder the wires on the tags and measure their resistance and compare against a known good coil. Might save you some money!

Greetings all and thank you for your quick responses. Indeed in going back through the machine, the only fried coils are
the Lock Relay Z28-1150, One flipper coil FL21-375/28-400, and the Coin and Replay Z35-4200 relay.
So I don't need anything like what I thought originally.

Thanks also for the contacts for parts. This is my 1st restoration.

If we can help in any way, let me know. These 3 coils are all common and available through the normal distributors. If you can't find something though we can help.

Thanks and good luck!
