So why 799 units????

Investors ' Well you sold 400 TRON LE and they are selling for $10000 now and Metallica LE sold out on day one. Any suggestions?

Stern. 'Let's do double the TRON LE run and raise the price'.

Investors. 'Too obvious to do 800 as people will notice we are doing twice the TRON LE run'.

Stern. 'I know, let's do 799, that will fox them'.

Investors. 'Brilliant. No one will work that one out'

Business 101. Keep rising prices until you don't sell all your stock. This is an experiment. May work and then prices will go up again. And no one even knows how much of the actual movies is being incorporated into the sound package.

I bailed on sunday evening. 799 units. high price and not enough revealed.

Might get Metallica instead as it is a kick ass pin

Was talking to a friend about lack of LCD. ST as a theme really needed LCD. On the other hand I am glad Metallica is DMD as would much rather see dots than the band members.

As for Stern v JJP. For me they both have things the other doesn't have.

Stern games are fast, a blast to play but QC is lacking.

JJP - WOZ has a ton of quality toys, LCD, just better build all round. But didn't enjoy playing it.

In an ideal world I would have Stern gameplay with the build quality of WOZ.......but that ain't possible!

Going to be interesting to see how this pans out as I have never seen so many cancelled orders on an LE and there are 799 to start with.

At the moment there will be a ton for sale so game video is going to be important.
