As far as refunding deposits, It really depends on the seller/distributor. Sure, the distributor's deposit is non-refundable, but in my opinion, a true distributor of anything should refund deposits up until they actually start shipping units. Why not? Isn't that part of being a distributor? Now, If a buyer chooses to purchase from a distributor that has different rules, that is his choice. As long as the rules don't change, I'd say that's fair. I can add that I refunded 4 deposits after the cut off date so far. I've since re-sold 3 of them without hardly trying.
