Hi, looking for someone who can repair board. i get 8 led flashes, have replaced the chip it states need replacing and it does not work. I now can't figure out how to fix, need someone who can fix it. please email [email protected]

http://www.eldoradogames.com/ repaired mine. $165 not including shipping. They are the only ones I know who openly entertain repairing a Vidiot. Good luck!

cdjump repairs them on KLOV for a little bit less I believe. I'll never forget going to that one KIngsport auction where a guy claimed that his friend was the "only" one who could do it.

With 8 flashes I'm assuming you swapped out the TMS9928 video processor but didn't swap out the socket? Also assuming you checked the voltages on the board. And was there any damage to the Vidiot from a leaking battery? The problem could be masked by a bad ROM socket that was damaged from the battery:

Try reseating the ROMs first and see if that makes a difference.
