very nice! I have only played this a handful of times on location but its a great game. Would love to own one one day. These restoration threads is why I'm on pinside!

Appreciate the comments all, the hardest part is finding the time to get it done. The know-how is all here, Bryan Kelly's original IJ thread is a great starting point.
Quoted from MGMPIN:Incredible work! Are you still using a rattle can for the primer or have you switched to shooting primer with your HVLP setup?
Yes, still using spray-can primer...works great for me. Might need a couple of a coats and each layer gets sanded, but the results are solid enough. Cleaning the HVLP guns for painting and clear coating gets old quick, the primer rattle cans are a nice break from that.
Appreciate it, this was a fun project and I'm glad to have the machine playing again.
Quoted from adamross:Incredible job, congrats. Planning to sell?
Not right now, plans are to keep it for awhile. But never say never....
If the time comes, it'd be great for it to stay local...so I'll keep you in mind.
Quoted from BR80:That was done with a orbital sander, can't recall the grit exactly...probably 320 or so.
The part to be careful with is removing the bulb shocks.
Any tips for removing the bulb sockets from the light board?
Also, a few of my sockets are cracked and I'm having trouble finding a part name. Any leads?
Thanks for your time!

Use a crescent wrench and grip the two flat sides on the back of the socket. Give it a slow wiggle and push it from the front. That should keep the wires intact and not break the socket. I haven't had to replace them before, but I think the correct link is here:

Quoted from PtownPin:What an incredible finished product....how much time and $ does something like this take?
Thanks, I stopped keeping track of time and money long ago.
It's a hobby and I enjoy the restore process of each project.
