So I've seen these clubs formed in the forum, SS ,Star Trek , etc..... I cant resist forming this one.WH2O is IMO still extremely underrated. I've owned mine longer than most of my pins . I have all the pieces to do a restore on it but I cant bring myself to starting the process due to the fact I love playing it.

Been to Wet Willie's ,Still haven't got Vacation Planner.

#7 10 years ago

Nice color DMD. Get Vacation planner yet?

Quoted from BR80:

What is she saying when the ball drops out of the upper to lower ramp

Don't feel bad took me a while to figure it out also.

#33 10 years ago

I have to admit when I first got it ,didn't think it had sustainability. Now It will be my last to leave.

#34 10 years ago

In commemoration of this club,I'll post this.

Ohiopyle.jpgOhiopyle.jpg

Thats me in the back almost falling out. I took a couple teens from Northern Ireland and my youngest down the Youchaganie river in PA. last week.

#50 10 years ago
Quoted from Vans:

What is this pin worth these days? I have an opportunity to buy one that is in half decent shape for $3,500.

3500

#51 10 years ago

I believe they are ranging between 3200-4500 . That would not include any that have been restored.

#57 10 years ago
Quoted from BillP:

I have a nice one in Cleveland for sale $4100. Cash and carry only.
Fantastic game, my favorite but I have 2 and need to sell one (keeping my original HUO of course
Bill

Bill,Ive already worked out a solution for your space issue.

#63 10 years ago

Cabinet paint on the head looks worn also

#64 10 years ago

#77 10 years ago
Quoted from Iamdarras:

Here's my White Water. I'm still working on getting things just right.

The chrome looks great.

#106 10 years ago
Quoted from smassa:

Picked up a HEP WH2O from a pinsider earlier this year. Has quickly become one if my all time favorites.
Gotta love iphone photos

Would love to know what you paid for it. Whitewater is one of the more expensive pins to restore.

Quoted from blimpey:

I copied this idea from someone who I had seen add this to the waterfall topper a number of years ago.

Is that a Harry and the hendersons Bigfoot ? Looks great

#134 10 years ago

I'd love to have a FT next to my Wh20! Nice topper!

Agreed

image.jpgimage.jpg

#137 10 years ago

Love it , like having twins.

#141 10 years ago
Quoted from doro-mini:

Please look at second picture

No need to be depressed. It can be a great pin and there are plenty of pinheads here who will help guide you along.

EDIT,:that looks like a great example of WH2O

#142 10 years ago

Those boulders are an easy fix

#149 10 years ago
Quoted from Jam_Burglar:

got my initials up on two of the White Waters

Nice job!

#157 10 years ago

Just play it for a while ,Enjoy it as is ,toy with adjusting the levelers to see if that has an effect.

#159 10 years ago

doro-mini,

Ok thats way to long to drain. Might want to consider a new ramp.
Anybody else agree?

#162 10 years ago

This help?

#166 10 years ago
Quoted from wiggy07:

do you ever bust your bulb with the ball

No I have not.

Quoted from doro-mini:

The kind of the light bulb is different

That's a frosted LED. WH2O was one of my first machines. I really haven't done much with it outside of playing it. I threw a few LED's in it when I first got it (they look like crap).I have everything I need to do a nice restoration on it but I cant bring myself to take it out of my line-up

#182 10 years ago
Quoted from tracelifter:

magnet sends the ball SDTM.

All my games have this feature, still trying to figure out how to turn it off.

#188 10 years ago

we all know that the extra ball target was strategically placed

#194 10 years ago

Doro, no magnet, just order a new ramp from James at pinball inc. he lists all his distributors.

#201 10 years ago
Quoted from TheLaw:

Make sure to look at the manual

Take a lot of photos also.

Quoted from King_Lauw:

Yesterday I did a trade. I left the ST:TNG club and may now join the WH20 club It's an pretty early production I think? 28-dec-1992. A bit dirty but in good condition I guess. I will clean it, buy a Boulder Garden rock, 2 green lock targets and maybe an led-kit. Also the DMD is pretty noisey but still works fine.
Oh and it still runs on L1 software..

Blackbeard,

I will be getting back my original in a month(plan to restore it). I have a very nice one(restored by others) in my line up that will go up for sale. So if nothing comes about in the next few months , theres still hope.

So, out of all my pins, WH20 has quickly become my absolute favorite: above TZ and TAF (which are ranked higher here). This game is an absolute blast.

#1336 8 years ago
Quoted from Blackbeard:

Anyone have any issues with the ball trough on their wh20? Sometimes the balls don't register as drained unless I whack the side of the cab. Im pretty sure it's not switch related, but that the balls aren't rolling onto the switches perfectly every time. I took it apart and cleaned it, but still every once and awhile I have to shake/whack the cab a bit to have the ball hit a trough switch to register as drained.
Anyone?

Quoted from KingDaddy:

Not on my Wh20, but it happens on my WW occasionally. A little shake solves it, and their doesn't appear to be anything wrong with the switch etc.

Quoted from Blackbeard:

I don't think it's flakey switches. I've run tests and they seem to work fine.
I can almost hear the ball move a bit when I shake the side of the cab. It sounds like it drops into place a bit and hits the switch.
Maybe its a notch somewhere though. That sounds logical.

Great fix for trough wear

New owner....
How difficult/time consuming is a shop on this game?

You might want to pack a lunch.

#2554 6 years ago

In comparison to other games of this era Its more time consuming. 7 ramps,2 level playfields, 3 Flippers. I can shop a FT, TAF ,AFM or SS in much less time.
