Could someone tell me the distance between the playfield and upper playfield? Are the posts holding it up all the same height? Anyone happen to have extra posts?

Could someone tell me the distance between the playfield and upper playfield? Are the posts holding it up all the same height? Anyone happen to have extra posts?
Thanks mot!
Anyone able to say if it's 2 3/8 total length or spacer length?
Also looking for the wire shooter lane ramp.
Could someone tell me what color wires they have runing to the hot foot bigfoot, disaster drop, and rapids ramp main switches. Pretty much the 7 column 71, 73, 74, 75.
I'm wiring up a game and some of the pieces I have don't seem to match the manual. I wonder if there's a typo.
Thanks!
Anyone ever have their bigfoot turn clockwise only? I see counter clockwise only is mentioned in the guides as a failed diode. I have a new motor controller board and it does the same thing. Seems like it should be a problem in the board if he turns at all.
Quoted from PjM:Did you perform the test in diagnostics?
Fixed it. Typo in the manual on page 3-26 pin one and two of j1 need to be swapped.
So for the next guy who searches this problem (if it ever happens again) when control and enable are swapped, bigfoot will only turn clockwise.
Quoted from PACMAN:Wow, talk about doing it the hard way
What happened to the MB?
It was a free empty cabinet when I found it. I assume someone did a nice restore on their MB.
Quoted from thewool:So how many other people have lightning flippers installed? I asked the guy when I bought it if these were standard and he said yes, but it was also set to 5 balls. I set it back to 3 balls and the game has always felt really hard to me, which is great, but I don't want to make it artificially so....
I dig the lightning. Even got em on bk2k
I left mine out completely.. I guess there's a chance I'll drain out of the bumper nest, but it hasn't felt overly unfair yet.
Quoted from xTheBlackKnightx:Unfortunately, most of the older generations to do not post, post regularly, or even use a computer.
So what else didn't make it besides the insanity falls ramp with lanes and right return? I think that's the only major change I saw.
Would anyone be willing to send pics of the top of their backbox with a few measurements of what gets cut out? I have the metal plate that goes in front, just not sure how exactly to cut a standard backbox to covert to wh2o.
Thanks!
Quoted from yzfguy:IMHO... White looks a lot like ass.
What kind of ass are we talking about?

Would have to be pretty nice @ 6k. Seems like I've seen some sell in the 4s recently, if those are players 6k isn't awful for a higher end example.
I'm thinking about putting a new micro playfield in my wh2o.. anyone have any experience or comments on micro playfields?
Anyone got comparison pics? Can't seem to find good resolution stuff.. Especially the upper playfield.
Dang I thought I got em there before..
Marco has a good variety

Quoted from yaksplat:At that price i'll just go carve some rocks, drill some holes in them and call it a day.
Brace yourself for the repro topper decal.
Quoted from yaksplat:1: I was told, "What am I supposed top do about it?"
2: Cliffy made a version that works on both now.
3: 95% of my dimples were off. It was a nightmare of redrilling every hole and refitting every mech. There was also a hole for a post missing next to the left cellar. Again, no response from Mirco. His post sale service is miserable.
Jeez. I was kinda bummed with cpr after fish tales with the bad shooter lane AND they never replied to my email asking if they had a recommended work around. Micro doesn’t sound much different.
Quoted from McSquid:I like the waterfall and no way out skull mod... the rest... eh.
Hah, i like the rafts.... the rest eh.
Has he done any updates? I noticed a couple screens that render weird. it’s much better than the colordmd colors even with a few flaws.
Quoted from yaksplat:Did you let him know?
There were a couple that were odd to me. I let him know and he fixed them.
Which ones don't look right?
I’ll have to get the glass off and take some vid or photos. I think the replay score is wonky at end of ball, and I’m pretty sure i caught something odd in gold rush. Poked around a little, seems like i probably have the latest.
Quoted from Yesh23:There could have posted it to other sites... Facebook or EBay
i've sold stuff elsewhere listed here.
Quoted from crazy79:For a frosted yeti H2WO theme, a small custom on the decal is needed.
[quoted image]
I think I like the original best, but this is well done. Nice work.
Quoted from Pinkitten:I have an extra set of custom REVIR target decals if anyone would like them on their game.
These are sweeeeet.
Thanks!
Quoted from Davi:An option is pin2dmd. 50% cheaper than ColorDMD. Colorization is available for White Water. It's 99% done, but I don't really care the remaining 1%.
I think it’s a better color job than the colordmd, I swapped my colordmd to a different game.
Quoted from Tortelvis:Finally found some extra decals and dressed up the Mantis protectors. [quoted image]
Where did you find those?
Quoted from Billy16:Any ideas of what to look for to fix this? I was playing today and in the middle of a ball many of the insert lights went wonky and stayed on when they should have been off--and vice-versa. Shut the machine off, turned it back on and many of the insert lights were solidly lit instead of going into attract mode.
Check your light matrix.. those Q chips are tip 102 or 107 i think.. lower right quadrant of the driver board, probably one of those died, you should be able to track it down by what lamps are solid. Edit: if you have a WPC schematic manual look at Power Driver Board sheet 2 pg 3, that might help too.

Quoted from alepage:Hello everyone I’m trying to join the club “Slowly gathering parts” for a insane scratch build? Looking for a set of lamp boards? And the Lost Mine Mech amongst many other parts? Please let me know if anyone has anything they would part with, most things considered
Ideally I’d love a semi populated playfield? Well if you don’t ask you don’t get?
Thanks and great club
I did one... got most of the parts in a big buy, but had to make my own guides and a few other bits. wired the playfield from scratch. good luck man, it was a fun go for me!
mantis sells a guide kit, and a few good pieces for whitewater
https://mantispinball.com/product/misc-ball-guide-kit/
Quoted from RusticatedBelt:the Mantis set is really just generic sheet metal and will probably only work for a few guides, plus you'd have to rivet them together.
Yeah, I have a riveted joint on the orbit guide…
Quoted from Zartan:How much are they worth?
I got it for $500 but that’s probably a steal in this crazy world of 1500+ toppers
Quoted from nerdygrrl:As someone sans a topper this is very intriguing, but I also need 2K in other parts too
I ran a “poor man’s” waterfall topper using glitter for years.
Quoted from radium:Wow, lamp boards and wireforms would be a huge head start, will pm you.
Biggest challenge is no access to a machine to reference, I at least have an addams family here though. I can build the harnesses. So I guess 5610-12835-00 transformer, big foot mech, guides, and other oddball parts will be the hard part.
I didn't build from scratch but did build from pieces, and no reference besides photos online and the manual and it was enough to get it done.
Quoted from radium:Those of you building a scratch game, how did you find a Bigfoot mech? This one seems like real unobtainium. I think this and guides are my biggest problem.
I kicked off my project with most of the mechs, made a few guides and wired from scratch.
I think it sounds fun, probably spend the most time tweaking the orbit guide rail.. I built mine from mantis amusement parts, you might do that and keep your original intact.. To return it to original you'd just swap that back in.
Diamond plate I’d give much better odds with removing Mylar, unless you got planking or some other odd damage. Not a problem to remove Mylar, touch up and restore an original. Option #2 is a good one, but depending on who you go with and how much touch up, mirco might be a better gamble, and like you say who knows what you get with the clear, I’ve had good luck myself.
Quoted from nerdygrrl:I picked up a beater of a Whitewater last year for 4K. I have another 4K in parts into it and still need to buy new ramps
Brutal just like the boomerang bend
Quoted from MiniPinHead:More to come, but it's very exciting to see how these new parts are turning out. Even parts not listed in the Parts Index, but listed in the Parts Manual, are/will be listed
Wow, i can start swapping out my diy guides. Is the orbit in the cards?
Quoted from Redliner911:Correct, stock is 800. 1200 is what I've seen recommended and what I used. It gives a light gentle pop. You can hold the right flipper and sometimes get the ball to roll up the inlane rollover for a river target, but sometimes it isn't strong enough for that. I think 1500 would for sure be too weak.
i'm running 800, you have to drop catch or risk rolling up and all the way through the in-lane, into danger.
Quoted from Lhyrgoif:Many have tried, unfortunately noone have succeeded in imitating the waterfall effect properly.
Gibranx Did it by hand.. but it doesn’t seem to have turned into anything tangible to consumers
https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/new-ideas-for-white-water-topper/page/10#post-5738746
Have you played a game with a protector on it? I would reccomend seeing how they play. They look great, but i'm not really a fan of how the ball interacts with them.
Quoted from MiniPinHead:It’s good to know what the market is on these
I won’t be getting one, as it just seems too highly priced, but you never know what you’re willing to do, once you own the game and don’t have one
Go the glitter route man!
[quoted image]
I ran glitter for years, it’s hard to justify a pile of c-notes for a sticker.
Lighting vs regular flippers is the real difficulty setting as far as playfield adjustment's. Lame that the extra rubber in the bumper nest was ever added.
that's one way to match the color.. i had an extra mountain but got rid of it because it looked off.
